Best and easiest website building tool?

INTERNET MARKETING

I want to put up a simple sales-letter website --- what is the easiest and best website building tool to do that with?

I don't want to use something like Dreamweaver -- I want something simple, no FTP required.

Any suggestions?

Btw, I tried Blink Web and was not happy with it.

I'm also looking for an easy e-commerce/merchant account solution.

  XSitePro is the only one I can recommend - because its the only website builder I've used, and I started with absolutely, positively no site building experience at all. Very user friendly, WYSIWYG all the way, and fantastic support. I can't stop building websites now, and tweaking the first ones is easy.

If you are looking for a simple website - you could use wordpress. You won't have to go through an FTP everytime you want to update it and its pretty simple to use.

  I would suggest WordPress - it is very flexible and can be expanded by using plugins.

I like bravenet. I think it's user friendly, it's a got html coding, or visual editor, or a wizard, so either way it's fool proof.

he says he doesnt want to use ftp...so even Xsite would require entering some information and uploading to a host.

I would recommend google pages, or blogger, or squidoo

FTP is easy to learn. Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to in order to reach your desired outcome.

  I agree. FTP is very simple and I wouldn't let that keep me from using simple WYSIWYG editors. If you want some help send me a PM and I'll fix you up with a video that will explain all of this stuff.

I would recommend BritishSuccess.net if you live in the UK. very easyto use website builder, hosting included for unlimited domains and great customer support.

all you have to enter is the user name and pass word from your host plus the url, its so simple using x-site pro...
