Google Maps - spammer comments?

Does anyone know how to get rid of or report comments that are totally in competition or NOT applicable??

One of my clients owns a hair & Esthetics salon in the Niagara Region.

When I checked the status to ensure she's appearing in the top of the search engines for the area (and she is ) under the google maps, there shows 4 reviews:

One is for her salon.

The other THREE are a spammer who is trying to steal the traffic by sending people to aesthetics.ca - and they say NOTHING to do with her salon. (In fact, the entire review (all 3) are related to Dr.s in Toronto/Yorkville!)

Is there any way to get rid of those? They aren't real reviews. Any ideas?

    1. Keep in mind that the consumer reviews & spam that show in Google for the most part come from consumers, third party providers and other reviews collected by Google around the web regarding your business....it's not just Google
    2. If you’re concerned about a review that was submitted, click the Flag as inappropriate link found under the review, and submit a report. If the review is in violation of Google’s policies, they will remove it....also do as RaJa states above....I usually do both...
    3. If the reviews are coming from third-party source, such as YELP.com, Local.com, Angieslist.com......you will have to contact the third-party source to have the information changed. Once the information has been changed at the third-party source, it will be updated on Google soon after the change has been made.
    4. Once you have your Google Local Business Listing displayed on your screen, under the “more” down arrow is a link to “Report A Problem”. You can use this option to submit inaccuracies or concerns about your listing to Google.

Master this & you will be the local hero to many restaurant, hair salon, or other service related business owners....to not have bad reviews or spam comments show on a local merchants site is huge to them. A large percentage of bad reviews are left by competitors....spam comments, well...they are by morons....lol "Reputation Management" can be a nice income stream for any offline marketing business.

    Good luck,
