would you buy a graphics package designed for gimp

welcome all.

Currently i am compiling/designing a graphics package for Gimp which will be released as a wso only, when finished. All graphics will be editable by gimp including the text. Currently i have around 136 graphics most of which you can change the color/font giving you thousands of variations.

Plus i will be including video instructions on just how easy it is to create a e-cover box and e-book. Plus the templates to create them...

Before i go ahead and list as a wso (when completed)i would like have some feedback from fellow warriors. Is this a good or bad idea and if you used gimp would you consider this..and what type of graphics would you be looking for.

Please don't hold back if you think i am wasting my time with this project let me know..

    I think it's a great idea.

    The fact that you're eliminating the ridiculous need for people to pay $200+ for photoshop is a huge seller.

    Including templates for ebook covers etc and a script of some sort to create them would be a valuable product in itself.

    They would have to be very high quality graphics.

    And I think you'd have to sell Master Resale Rights or Private Label Rights to do really well selling them as a WSO.

    Thanks for the responses so far,

    Andrew:- they would have full plr as they are fully layer just for gimp. The graphics shown are part of the package. There is no script for the e-covers, but you just won't believe how simple it is to do them.

    Garrie:- I was thinking blank png instead of jpg as jpg does not support alpha backgrounds, most of the graphics are layered blanks but formated for gimp so they can add their own text. But i could do both.

      I want to be constructive here Geoff so don't take this the wrong way but the samples on this post aren't that great.

      They're okay but if you really want to do well with this you might want to take the graphics to a little higher level of professionalism.

      Just a little better than what you have and you'd have some seriously good graphics.

      You'd also need to think through what graphics have the highest demand for internet marketers:

    # Download Now buttons
    # Subscribe Now buttons
    # Free Bonus graphics
    # Free Gift graphics

    # One time offer graphics
    # Special Offer graphics

    The beauty of these is how they work with gimp. Up until now we have had to deal with psd only. With these gimp users can fully edit the graphics the way they where designed to be edited.

    The package will be designed not by quantity but by versatility..

    Here is a short video i made today to show how easy it is to change the color of a bonus graphic. Not to sure how you place it into the posting so i will use a link.

    Will:- As for the e-covers it will be a video just like the one here showing you how it is done, a very simple process and effective.

      I would buy this just on principle for the paid members in my OfflineBiz.com membership site.

      It is annoying for people starting out that they need photoshop to edit so many graphics given the amazingly high price of that program.

      Gimp is free and it would probably be superior if there were more products like the one you're planning available to use with it.

        Looks cool. I would be interested in this too as a bonus item for my members, especially if it came with some video guides. Please don't do MRR or the value of it gets killed! Keep it RR, or PLR with a minumum price or allowed on paid membership sites.
