Aweber Quick Questions

1. Aweber does let you import a list of subscribers HOWEVER all the subscribers you add will then need to confirm their email address before you can send them email. This is to stop people adding random lists of harvested email addresses. Tip: Just be honest with your list and tell them what you're doing. Let them know you are moving over to a more efficient email service, let them know to expect a confirmation email from Aweber, and maybe offer them some type of freebie for confirming their email address with Aweber.

2. All Aweber plans come with unlimited autoresponder and broadcast features. You won't get any type of discount whether you use the autoresponders or not. You could try and contact Aweber and ask but I've never heard of them doing this for anyone before. Aweber's prices have more to do with the storage of information for each contact rather than how many emails you send - thus why their plans are based on the number of subscribers you have (I was told this by Aweber).

No problems at all. That tip was something I picked up by being a member of a list who did the exact same thing you are wanting to do. They emailed us all in advance and told us why they were changing to Aweber, they told us to expect an email from Aweber (this bit was very IMPORTANT) and then offered those who confirmed their email a nice freebie.

So, naturally I re-confirmed as I'm sure most of their list did.
