Now.. If I make any assumptions here... it's because I am useless with organisation.. hence why I have never released my own product.. the flippin chapters would end up in the wrong order..lol.. Anyhow.. I want to share with you a little method that I have been using intensively for a long time, and I have done this in pretty much any of the niche markets I get into, I do it first thing into the market to get myself acquainted with the niche... To any seasoned marketers... this is a tried and tested method to generate income, traffic and can even build your list, but before you seasoned marketers jump in telling me that this is old news.. check the title of the thread.. it says n00bs!!! **** Into action.... What you want to start with is research, but nothin crazy right now.. this is product research... what you intend to do is find a product for $50 or less. Now this is a vitally important step, because if you pick a dud product or one that is a waste then you have blown it right at the start. You need to find a product that stands the test of time and will genuinely help people in the chosen niche. But this can be ANY niche you wish.. absolutely any niche you like.. just pick one and find it's best product for under $50 You can go the clickbank route here, or if you are looking into the make money online niche then choose an independent affiliate program or paydotcom.. CB has issues right now IMHO> Once you have found the product of your choice.. you need to buy it with your $50, this is the only money you will have to spend on this method, so be sure to pick a product with good independent reviews (not just hyped up affiliate's). Buying the product allow you to go into depth with your review, but it also puts you ahead of 90% of other affiliates out there who are not prepared to make that investment. Your affiliate products can make you a substantial income over time, so if you are not in a position to make this sort of investment yet I would strongly suggest getting a weekend job to fund your business for a while until you turn a profit, you will do much better this way and you can be comfortable knowing you are providing a real review. You will have plenty of content to evaluate and form opinions about, purchasing your review product will put you in a really good position and I would recommend it to anyone. Here are my tips for doing a review of a product: 1. Break the product up into the 5 key parts, whether they be chapters, sections, or the main benefits and how they are achieved with the product, but it is good to have 5 different sections to cover no matter which way you cut it. 2. Systematically cover each one of your 5 sections in detail, in your own words with your thoughts, feelings and opinions, good or bad. 3. Make a decision on the overall feel of the product, how well it flows from start to finish, readability, or how it is to listen to or use etc. 4. Finalise your opinions and conclude the piece. You see the beauty of doing this is you don't have to know about a niche to review a product like this, you can evaluate and review the FACTS and figures.. splitting it down into a step by step walk through of the product.. tell them what is covered, but not how it is covered.. you don't want them to feel like they don't need the product ![]() This should now give you an overview of the whole product in your own words with plenty of points to start producing content from and you have the product covered in detail.. You now need to go to blogger.com and register a blog, a very keyword friendly blog URL.. use the product name or the hottest keyword in the niche, the beauty of blogger is you can almost guarantee that you can get an URL you want or one that is damn close... From here you will populate the blogger blog with your product review with all affiliate links relevantly sprinkled throughout with a big text link right at the top and then right at the bottom of your review. You now have a decent product review, with most desired action links to direct traffic to. This product review is detailed, with facts, in your own words with your opinions and thoughts.. a factual review is the best converting style of review I have ever compiled.. FACTS move product...period. Your next step comes in the form of content creation, you're gonna have to lay in some time here because you blew the $50 on the product.. We have 3 options:
But each one of these can be used as an article directory. Your starting point for your articles is going to be the 5 sections from above that you split the product into for your product review.. you can use your own content from above and manipulate it for each different directory.. or you can create fresh content.. but the key here is: Keyword in Title Keyword in First Paragraph Keyword in Fourth Paragraph Keyword in Summary/Resource Box I can honestly say that I have written some of the crappiest articles ever and using the keyword structure above they have still pulled results.. not because I wrote them crappy on purpose, but simply because I had no idea how to write an article when I first started (I still don't?.. I dunno.lol) In order to do this you are going to need keywords, but keyword tools are unreliable, right?... Use Google's keyword tool only to get yourself 50 niche keywords to begin with.. this will give you 50 or more articles to focus on whilst you get started.. Only 50 keywords Max.. you will get more later ![]() Use the article layout above with keyword inclusion like I said, but DO NOT hype anything... you won't need to once you have consistent traffic as a result of consistent action.. you can slowly start creating articles around these 50 keywords, one at a time and then publish the same article to all 3 portals. Ignore what people say about dupe content.. it's crap.. just create 1 article per keyword with the structure above, based on facts and publish it to Ezine, then Squidoo and then USFreeAds. What you need to do now is implement some sort of stats tracking... I recommend statcounter.com.. this will bring you your traffic stats etc. But what is vitally important is you will find out exactly where your traffic is coming from and what keyword got them there, if it is all one portal then you can drop the others.. or if it is just a few keywords.. you can focus more on those keywords.... This method will bring you profits if followed correctly. I do this in every single niche I get into..
Wash, Rinse and Repeat.. Peace Jay p.s. If Allen Graves comes along askin me for proof that this method works.. Allen... Skype me and I will let you log into my PayPal ..lol

Way to take the initiative and provide a solid review format for aspiring affiliates to follow. From the way you laid it out JayXtreme, your method looks like it could be easily scaled up as well as even outsourced. Well done. Maybe some aspiring affiliates would like to put J's stuff through its paces and report back with your results? Sounds like a cool little challenge if so. |

Hi Jay, Thanks for the post of the week ![]() Do you have any of these systems that are defunct? Any that you could share without giving away an active niche? I'd love to see what you did. Thanks, Steve |

Nice post Jay. I don't think you need to worry about your reputation OR proving to anyone if this works. What you've provided here is a method for others to follow that just requires effort. Would be great to see a total newbie take this method on and post their results in this thread. That way they will get feedback from you and others, which should inspire them to see it through. It would also be of great benefit to others looking to make their first dollar online. Well done |

unfortunately... I wouldn't have a defunct one, once I set it.. I just add articles to the stream once a month and it rolls on for a little longer, but as I said above..I do intend to show more of this soon... Peace Jay | |

Jay, have you been like, um, spying on me? ![]() This is EXACTLY what I do with about 20 affiliate products, MMO being one of my biggies (no, not make money online). Yeah, this absolutely is almost foolproof with a kick ass product that people are hungry for. Thanks for sharing this with us noobs. |

Jay, A couple of quick questions: Is there a serious danger to using a wordpress.com or blogger blog vs. a self hosted blog? If someone started this on that type of blog would you recommend they change over to a self hosted blog before they create more backlinks? -Nick |

Lots of details here that will help me and other newbies. The only thing I don't understand is - what is "sexy" profits? Can I make some "unsexy" profits here? |

Still learning.

I have 2 questions for you. 1 should you just go straight to your product review even if the product is not the keyword? My current test article goes on about a keyword related topic a little and then introduces another problem and offers them the solution in form of the product. 2. How do I get it back in the search engines after it disappears? (After I used SB sites to bookmark it disappeared from msn google and yahoo -.-) |

Hi Jay Nice post mate. I have bought ebooks with less info in. LOL That's why I like it here. So much good info, so readily shared, so much to learn, so little time. Nice one. Phil |

I am a total newbie and I want to give it a shot. So far it seems very clear, there is one part that I'm not sure I understand, appreciate any clarification. When you say pick 50 keywords and write articles around those keywords - will the articles be based on the product/ebook I bought, i.e. analyzing pieces of it, or should they be generally about the niche market, with some links to the product here and there highlighting keywords? Not quite sure how will I get the idea for the 50 additional articles, that's my only confusion... Well, you said it's for newbies, so please don't bite my head down for asking ![]() kislany |

This is a great method for noob affiliates. I usually create a main blog on blogger, a squidoo lens and then put a product review on hubpages. Then link the squidoo to the blogger and the hubpages to the blogger. Then in the articles, which i submit to ezinearticles, associated content, article dashboard and goarticles I always link to the blogger but also to either the squidoo or the hubpages. That way you have a nice web 2.0 circle going to spread around PR and high SERP I am going to start this with a totally fresh product using exactly the method laid out and I will report back. |
