EGO and The $100,000 p/m Relationship?

Greetings Warriors,
I will get to my two questions in a short while but I just a just watched a very well done video which came through my email showing 'VIDEO PROOF' how a particular marketer was making about $100,000 per month using Clickbank. Of course the video was fairly brief and had limited information (It was a very well done sales video).

So when I'm watching this my initial thought is if you're making that much money a month why the hell are you selling anything? Why not keep it a secret? There are only three answers to this question. One is that the marketer has worked hard in learning his craft, is very good at what he does and would like to share this with the IM community (EGO) The other answer is that he is making all of this up as a sales tactic using great video editing and photoshop techniques to sell his products (Blackhat). The third answer, and the one which I hope is true is that he really is making this much money and feels that he should give back to the community through the sales of his product. Of course there may be a combination of the three answers as well.

What are your thoughts? Just throwing it out there?

Here's business concept that's as old as time itself:

The key to make millions is not in having a ninja secret skill. The key is to systematize that ninja skill into a product, and then simply sell that product to the masses.

Think about it, and you will realize that there have been thousands of examples throughout history.

So no, non of your three options is the right answer. The right answer is: it's easier to make money by teaching someone, than by implementing your own teachings yourself.

Yup, I know... it's ugly, but you asked for it

Answers 1 and 3 are pretty much the same. I don't see how ego fits into the picture at all. People wonder why, if someone's making a bazillion dollars online, they need to sell $27 products or $97 products (for example). Well...more money couldn't hurt, right? Plus, some people enjoy teaching and helping others.

Answer 2 is a serious allegation, one that shouldn't be thrown around lightly.
