Clickbank and List building Products

So whats the deal with CB and list building/email marketing products?

I ask because a while ago one of my products were disapproved because it related to email marketing but I see a few list building related products on CB, and just wondering if there is a certain way to "get around" the rules or perhaps those particular products slipped through the filters.

Are they allowed or what?

    Great question Ernie.

I'm thinking that cb's policy is geared more towards preventing

people who are wanting to sell lists or sell leads.

As a result, some of the products that look like they may be close

to that category probably didn't get approved to be safe.

That's just my guess, but isn't Harvey Segal the resident warrior

    clickbank expert?

It may be that your product would be approved and you just need

to make sure they know it is a legit product and not one like those others they created the rule for.

Building lists with Clickbank is off limits...end of story.

They see anything with the words list building on your sales page and your
product is rejected. The standard reply they'll give you is their security
department has rejected it and they give you no specific reason.

That's just the way it is.

Thanks Steven I thought that may be the case. I just saw a couple of obvious list related product in the CB marketplace, I guess they will be caught out soon enough.

I'm not sure what the rules are on Paydotcom, but maybe you could put your product there.

PDC lets you sell what you want, no demands for censoring your products.

Wouldn't it be funny if people with lists stopped promoting Clickbank stuff? I wonder if the 80% sales drop would get their attention.

              Au contraire.

Paydotcom uses paypal as their payment processor. So you do have to abide by paypal's tos.

              There are only two alternatives:

              1. Revolution Money Exchange
              2. Your own merchant account

Paydotcom is powered by paypal, so the same rules as clickbank apply.

Sorry Ernie, but no. They're grandfathered. They came in before the slap
          down and won't be removed.

Don't even get me started on the double standard there. The big names with
their rule breaking products will never get removed while the little guy has to
          fight to get anything approved.

Like I said, don't get me started.
