Does clickbank allow a free trial on my OTO?

Here's another CB question: can I offer my customers a free 7 day membership trial as my one time offer.

It seems like the minimum is $4.95 but I was wondering if there's a way around that?

Hi Sara,

I don't think so.

But, if you offer them a low price product in Clickbank, you can set that as your initial price in Clickbank and then offer them a 7 day free trial before you start billing them with continuity at whatever monthly price you choose.

It's not perfect but other than offering a free continuity 'trial' as part of a product you'd have to set a minimum $4.95 for continuity only.

I think I have this right anyway, I am sure somebody will correct me if I am wrong...

You have to have made 5000 sales or dollars, cant remember which, before they will even allow you to make OTO's.

You can always go to the clickbank site and all of the rules are there as regards what you can and cannot do. That way you will be 100% certain you have the correct answer to your question. Roy Hope this helps you. I have never sold that amount.

  My bad, I assumed that applied to OTO's as well. In that case, there isn't anything you can do really, clickbank doesn't do free trial periods.

  Send the free trial through DLGuard to PayPal. Pay your affiliates manually
  if the customer becomes a paying member.
  
  Otherwise, you're out of luck.

What is a good script to use with Clickbank, to manage delivery and the upsell process? I have seen amember used quite a bit but it is kind of expensive for what I want to do (free report, $7 report - > $47 report -> recurring membership)
