With the economy going into recession, sales on the auction giant are way down, but that is only the beginning of troubles. Such things as requiring buyers to use paypal for purchases, messing up the ratings feedback, and new fees have created an exodus of buyers and sellers.

I have noticed in the last few weeks that many times I will order an item and get nothing, even after calling the seller and emailing them countless times. Well, the world of big biz is finally waking up to the chaos that is Ebay.

I know where you are coming from as a seller i got burned with the new feedback rules.

I guess eBay has gotten so big now it is starting to implode.....They truly believe it is the buyers who make them the money not the sellers.

Precisely. They're forgetting that sellers are their customers too.

I've read ebay has changed directions again to trend towards the Amazon concept.
Problem is Amazon might have something to say about giving up their hold.

I was using eBay's home page featured classifieds until they more than tripled the price from $49 to $179 and without warning I might ad ... just one example of how it is getting harder to sell on eBay with such crazy fee increases, at least for the small time sellers.

I will confess I do still like to shop there though :-)
