It’s No Secret How to Be Successful

Anyone can come online and pretend to be successful by showing that they are earning large amounts of income.

The hard part for you is BECOMING successful, specifically for those who are just starting out.

But I have the ultimate secret for success. I’m not talking about any new technique or scheme. It’s nothing that is “Black Hat”, unethical, illegal, or fake.

No, No…… This secret is available to everyone and anyone. It’s in many of the books we read as we struggle to become entrepreneurs. You have already read about this secret. You know what it is.

It is such a simple concept, it’s too close to be easy to recognize. It is because it so simple, your mind just doesn’t make the connection.

Will I tell you the secret? Of course.

Human nature is a very funny thing. When you finally understand a concept that can change your life forever, you jump up and down, smack your forehead, and tell all your friends, start planning…….but it always wears off.

Somehow with the passing of time, the excitement dies and you are back to square one. All your friends and family tell you that it will never work. You taking a different look at your plans and start to see small flaws and slowly begin to decide that it will never work.

Fear sets in, and you convince yourself into failure before you even finish getting started.

You have the “gonna do” instant gratification virus. You see something you decide is going to make you “rich”. Your telling everyone “I’m gonna do this”, and “I’m gonna do that”. You put on a good show, buy books and tapes, and courses and maybe even some equipment and supplies and convince yourself you are making an ‘investment”. But the fact of the matter is that in the end you never really do anything with it.

What will it take for you to just get up and do it and stick with it?

Now if you haven’t figured out what the real secret is………….

YOU HAVE TO EARN IT

It really is that simple. Go out and work and do something. Try and FAIL.

All the planning in the world will do you no good. All that conflicting advice that you find on this board is worthless, unless YOU ACT.

Some will say it’s very hard. They will need to stay out of this game. No one is really going to care. No one is interested in your problems. No one is going to help you unless you start showing some signs of life by starting to do things, completing projects, and start thinking for yourself.

You must work and succeed and fail. Test ideas and the principles for yourself.

Thanksgiving is near. Christmas is just behind it.

I agree there is no "magic button" for success.

There are many different techniques and systems that have produced massive success for many people and they are able to duplicate to an extent.

Trial and error is time consuming and tedious, use what works for you.

We all have inside of us what it takes to succeed and it takes ACTION to get to where we desire...

I agree - you have to ACT on what you've learned to get anywhere. Many people get a big idea, act on it, and if they aren't making money within a week they dump it. You must be consistent and work hard on your goals for longer than just a few days!

People really have a tendency to be lazy and want success handed to them. It just doesn't work that way! Try a method, work it hard. If it doesn't work after a while, try something new.

This is the only way you are ever going to be successful. LEARN from failure. It's really amazing just how much you CAN learn from failing, if you think about it.

Hi Margola,

It's probably true. And I guess it depends on your definition of success, but it's really been about a year of total dedication to learning the business for me.

As for profits earned as a metric, my income could be a great amount or what some would spend on just putting fresh flowers in their home each year.

It's all relative.

I didn't really account for other factors in my post either, such as the amount of money a person starts out in the business with, or how much other business or market experience they bring.

I think that you really have to pack in the information from all sources. Then it is there like a resource for your mind to draw from when you need it. As I plodded along trying and failing, I just seemed to get better and better at it.

That's been my experience. Just hang in there and keep trying to work out your own systems. Break even results are something to celebrate. Don't worry about what numbers others are hyping. Look for and work your own advantages.

Yep this is one of the reasons I hate many downline building programs as they try to lead the newbies to believe that if they build their downlines using this or that program they will succeed.. Anyway great post

I think you have to first define successful - I just finished reading this thread by Amy Bass: I Have Paid off $60,000 in Debt Since May 2007 By Making Money Online!

In my book, that's successful. She's not making any absurd claims to wealth or secrets - simply toiling away to pay off her debt load (and in a crappy economy) and doing it. With style

If you're able to eventually achieve your goals, large or small...you're successful. It's not about any one thing in particular - just doing something that works the way you planned and expected it to.

Hi Craig, I agree on Taking Actions will only produce results. There is a Newton's law of gravity which is "To Every Action produced there is an Equal and Opposite Reaction".

So taking this into account even Physics agree with the importance of TAKING ACTIONS. I really believe that you can not fail until you believe so. Because every action leads to some kind of learning which you can use to your progress further.

Importance of Having a Daily Plan of actions is very important specially when you are a newbie entering into the unknown world of Internet Marketing.
In my initial days I was also pointless and without direction wondering for getting new ideas and so called Guru Dreams. But after few months of hard work I realized that making money online is a very easy task for those who know what they are doing exactly and they have an actual action plan to work for on a daily basis. So I also formulated my own action plan and started to work on it. And BAM... in few days of work the results started to pop up.

In my first week of Online Marketing I got almost $100 in my CB account. I know it is not too much but at that time for a newbie like me it was very motivating and exciting. That gave me a big encouragement to work harder and push your limits.

Believe me friends when you see actual money coming in your pockets then you will feel the high energy and motivation inside you which will propel to work more and earn more. And that will be your real beginning of IM career.
