Gday Warriors, just a quick one.

Put together some small ebooks (pdfs) together to distribute to some ebook directories. The links in the footer work, but the links I've placed randomly throughout the book do not.

Can someone tell me how to make these links live with the required code. i'm trying to make anchor links but it doesn't seem to be working..

Thanking all warriors in advance

Thomas

I don't know what you're using to create your pdf's but I use OpenOffice. You use the insert menu to create a hyperlink for the text you want (it opens a new window to insert your URL), save the document either as OpenOffice document or as .doc (MS Word) then simply click the button to expert it as a pdf.

It is very straightforward and works every time.

Yes, open office can do that also. Myself, using, microsoft word 2007 and 2010.
Make sure, after typing the web address there are blue line, how to do that?
You need to hit spacebar at the end of the web address.

Its happen to me before when I copy paste from notepad file to MS Word, it's not automatically change your web address to link, so you need to do it manually.

Anyway, what software you use to write or convert your PDF ?

If you have Acrobat Pro and it doesn't automatically create the clickable link, you need to create a hyperlink box over the url or image.

URL used: PPVGenius - the PPV (contextual) software that saves marketers time and money!
(forgot WF changes it - the URL is www . PPVGenius . com)
Word -> PDF creates clickable links
Text file -> PDF creates clickable links

URL used: PPVGenius.com (note the missing www.)
Word -> PDF does NOT create clickable links
Text file -> PDF does NOT create clickable links
