Wordpress issue - Pages in Sidebar

I'm having an issue that seems to be technical, but am getting no response to my question at Wordpress.org, so naturally I'm coming here.

I have a website of static pages and am using the plug-in My Page Order. I changed the title of one of my pages, but it won't show up correctly in the sidebar. The new title shows up correctly on the page and in My Page Order, but on the site itself in the sidebar the old title still shows up.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Ctrl+F5? (=forced refresh) - is it still unchanged?

I think I did the forced refresh right, but it's still unchanged.

I also tried going to the edit page and removing the title, which removed the page from the sidebar. But then when I went back and reinserted the title, the wrong one showed up again on the sidebar.

Deactivate all the Pages-related plugins and try it again. If it works... then there is an issue with the plugin(s) - they don't update after youyr changes.

If it doesn't work - there is an issue with your WP install.

For real help, beyond guessing, you will need to provide a link to anyone who is willing to take a look at it.

Would the fact that I have not upgraded to wordpress 3.0 have anything to do with this problem?

What if you deactivate the plugin, and then reset it? Would that work?

Deactivating it and reset may work.
Upgrading to 3.0 may not be the problem, but it is possible.

I upgrade word press immediatly as soon as it is available, I didn't upgrade for a few weeks after WP 2.8 was released and I was hacked.

      I just solved my problem!!!

Yes, I had simply deactivated the plug-in, and activated it again, and that did not work.

What finally worked was saving the text on the page, (I had no graphics), then moving the page to trash, then creating the page all over again. At the same time, I deactivated and activated the plug-in again, but I think creating a "new" page was the real trick.

I'm feeling kind of smart tonight!
