Do you think positive article comments could influence the buyer?

I'm pretty new to IM and I'm just getting a feel for SEO. I'm currently writing articles for CB products and getting them ranked on the first page of Google.

Do you think positive comments from other readers would influence somebody and maybe even convert them into a sale?

The only product I have sales for, has been from an article that has a few positive comments.

    Hey RatRace,

I think positive comments are a great factor which show genuineness and would definitely influence buying. In the past I've tried commenting myself but I felt bad so now I get my friends or buyers of the products to write positive reviews.
There was a study a while ago (I can't remember what sub-forum it was in) but it explained different factors which influenced buying. There was also a video so I think by doing a quick search you'll find what you need.

    Regards
    Mark I

Yes, think about the internet sites that are REALLY successful.

Amazon's success is built on positive reviews. They really were the first web 2.0 property out there. They got their customers do help sell all of their products.
