Have Paypal put a hold on the funds? I have had that happen and it makes things a little tricky. You can go ahead and transfer the site and then ask the customer to let Paypal know that they have received the site - then they will release the funds.
However, you are putting your trust in the customer by doing this.
I'm not really sure what else to suggest.

Wait until Paypal clears the funds. Are you doing this through escrow.com? If not, just wait until paypal clears the funds and then make sure that the buyer has an account at the registrar that the domain is registered at. Then you just push the domain to him from your account to his account. Where is it registered?

I did somethink but I do not know right or wrong.

1- Buyer gived 250$ BID and won the auction
    2-He sent 250$ via paypal.
    3-Paypal put hold this money
4-I went to flippa sales completion area and click escrow
5-Register to escrow. I do not know this is necessary or not! I did some transaction apply.
6-My domain name is registered with godaddy
7-Now I can not get my money and can not transfer my domain...

Cancel the escrow. You don't need it for a site sale this small. Wait until Paypal releases the funds. Do not transfer the domain until the funds are cleared. Sometimes that takes a day or two.

Other than that, I don't know why you would not be able to transfer the domain. As soon as the funds are cleared, you should be able to unless you are already all signed up and committed to escrow.com. But I think that you can still cancel escrow as long as the buyer did not send the money via escrow and the seller did not already transfer the domain.

Yes! Don't transfer the domain until the funds are cleared. You should email you customer about the paypal situation and wait until the transfer is done.

Contact Escrow support and tell them the situation. They'll cancel it.

First, make sure that the buyer has a Godaddy account. Get his Godaddy ID and the email associated with his Godaddy acct.

Go to Domains > Domain Manager in your account. Click on the domain and when it comes up with all the options, click on Account Change. In the Account Change you will enter his Godaddy ID and his email. Submit it and that is called pushing a domain in Godaddy.

  • yes, tell him he will need a godaddy account for his new domain name.
once he is signed up, get the required ID info from him and then sign in to your godaddy account and move the domain to his godaddy account.
ask godaddy for support with this.

Now I have received my money. Paypal released my money. and I changed my domain account information for domain transfer. Buyer send me a message and say:
"You still need to transfer the website to my hosting account. Otherwise I do not have your site."

If I give all website files to her e-mail address, will problem solve?

Yes, but did you agree to send him the files? Or, upload the files to his server?

Sending website files via email isn't usually an option, unless it's a very small website. If it's a blog, it also has a database that needs to be transferred and it's much better if you know how to transfer these files and set the blog/site up for him from a customer service standpoint.

domainingdiva.com/transfer.pdf gives you instructions on how to do this.

If you are stuck on this, it's better to hire someone so it's done right.
Pm me if you want the name and email of the guy who does it for me for $15.

    You have TWO choices:

    1. Unlock the domain, have him/her request a transfer through HIS/HER account, and approve it on YOURS. This means S/HE needs to do some work!

    2. Setup a small godaddy account, transfer the domain to IT, set the details to him/her, and simply give them the logon details.

It really should be THAT simple!

The BIGGEST problem is that people seem to think YOU can simply transfer the domain, and I don't think there is any way you ever could. Look at it like an escrow. THEY ask, you respond, THEN the get the domain! It is NOT a sale where you send them the domain, and they do NOTHING!

I recently sold a blog and just ended up giving him my hosting account, after changing all the details obviously. Was easier to do this than transfer database and files etc.

May be easier just to do that if you dont have any other domains on your hosting?

That is a poor solution for a lot of customers. I already have two hosting accounts and don't want another one. If you're going to sell sites, you need to learn to transfer them to the new buyer's host or outsource it. You can just provide the files, but a lot of buyers are newbies and don't know what to do with those files. You will get bad feedback if you don't provide a level of customer service when you sell sites.

    Ok and Happy Ending
I trasfered my domain name to buyer first.
Then she gived me her hosting account login info (Because she does not know how to upload) and I uploaded all my files.
    Yahooo!!!
Thank you very much my friend. But I want to ask you a question about the future transfer.
When I selled my site I go to my domain and change its account info and put it buyers e-mail and ID. It is ok. This is domain transfer and no problem.
When I want to transfer my website files what is the easiest way for send that file? Send with e-mail is not good way I think also buyer may not give his/her hosting account info.
Which is the best service or way for transfer the all website files to buyer?

Most of my customers gladly give me their cpanel info so I can install the blog for them. If they are not willing to do that, and it's a blog, I go into my cpanel and go to the domain using file manager. I select all files and compress them into a zip file. Then I export the database to my harddrive. Then just send them the database via email and give them a link to the zip file and they've got it. If it's a site with no database, just compress the files into a zip and give them the link. Congrats on getting it all done.
