INTERNET MARKETING

Hi,
I'm looking for something that I can load my embedded youtube code into so that my visitors can't click the video through to youtube, and will stay on my page.

I got a tip from someone on another thread, but the software didnt seem to download.

Any ideas?

Do you need any special software?

If you go to youtube and use the embed code, that should do the job.

Thanks, but then if the viewer clicks on the video it opens up the youtube page.
This means othe links for them to click to take them away from my message

Are you sure you are using the embed code, not the direct link?

If you go to this page you should see that the videos play within the site.

They just use the standard embed code from youtube.

Same with this site

The first is a Wordpess site, the second isn't.

Mark Hess had a post about this
there is a wp plugin that will play the you tube
and no others
dont have it here but pm him and he will give
you the name of the wordpress plugin

Thanks, I dont use WP though. Does that matter?

If they will click within the video they will be taken to Youtube

Your visitors need to click the play sign in the lower left corner of the video so that they will not go to Youtube

The code on YouTube just embeds the video on any page..
When someone clicks on the YouTube logo on the video they'll be redirected to the YouTube page and I am afraid, you can not do anything to prevent that as far as I know.

  YouTube Embedded Player Parameters - YouTube APIs and Tools - Google Code

  Values: 0 or 1. Default is 0. Setting to 1 enables the "Enhanced Genie Menu". This behavior causes the genie menu (if present) to appear when the user's mouse enters the video display area, as opposed to only appearing when the menu button is pressed.
  
  You will want to enable "1" the egm when you embed the code. What this will do is this... When you click anywhere in the video during playback it will "pause" the video instead of redirecting you to the YouTube page.
  
  You can create your video embed code using the "potatohead style" API tool at the link below (just tick the box next to "egm" to disable the redirection as explained above)...
