Newspaper Advertisment: Which product?

I want to start a new printed newspaper advertisment campaign. I want to choose a Clickbank product from the money-making-niche. My ads were successful by advertising online, but now I want to start with printed newspapers.

What product in the money making niches would you choose?

I want to attract a larger audience. I can't target too much. I thought about popular products like Maverick Money Makers, Cell Phone Cash, Tycoon Cashflow.... What do you think, what converts well?

The newspaper where I want to advertise says that they have audience from all demographics... Not specificly certain groups.

personally I'd skip the news paper print ads can be pretty expensive and have low return the reason the web works more effectively is the click.look.buy. if you ask a lot of print advertisers they usually run many consecutive ads which gets pricey. However, if you are looking for good advertising and this is somewhat of one of my secrets is radio ad they can be super cheap and their listeners have a built in trust with their stations for some reasons i don't know.

Thats not true. If you write a compelling ad, you can get a great roi. I've not done it myself yet, but i know enough people who have, and use them all the time to sell their info products.

Also, you need to haggle on the price they give. I was just listening to a Ted Nicholas interview the other day, and he gave some killer tips on how to negotiate the prices, what questions to ask, and where abouts you should place your ads for best results

You can download it here, if anyones interested:

Do you advertise with radio? I'm not sure... Newspaper advertising works as well.

That really doesn't make any sense, unless the paper is in an extremely small market. I worked for a top 7 newspaper in the U.S. we had detailed demo info drilling down to each section. We knew who read what and as much about them (i.e. age, income, etc.) as we could.

Plus, major advertisers across the country pay to have their own studies done to see who is reading newspapers in each market, so they can better target their audience and they share this info with newspapers.

Back to your original question...here's a quick suggestion, I would take any of the programs you listed above and try placing a small CLS ad in the BizOp section of the newspaper if they have one, the prices should be pretty cheap and it's as targeted as section as you would get for CB products.

Also, never (and I mean never) pay any newspaper's ad prices, find out what their section ad deadlines are and call the day before that and start negotiating a price. Another suggestion is to call and say you are interested in remnant space (space left over after pagination that most newspapers fill with filler ads and will sell very cheap just to get some money).

Yea, I do radio ads Right now on a sports talk show in the fattest city in the usa, I run ads for a weight loss product and I get 20 "30 second slots" over a two week period for $80 and the radio host reads my script I wrote (some radio host require being paid to endorse though)

How many sales do you get?

I also know people doing newspaper advertsiment for info products. I hope I can make my own twist and make some good money. There are always people telling you what doesn't work- but in most cases they just failed. Good example PPC and Clickbank: Everybody told me I shouldn't do it, DAMN; I found campaigns making me good money with high conversions!

I will test my ads the next months and I'll see how it's working.

I would have to agree with Thomas , Radio is the way to go just fro the return on the money you spend in advertisment

Print or Radio can be profitable and ultimately that's the only measurement we're concerned about.

You either make money using a certain media or you lose it.

That being said, you should also take a look at space ads in niche magazines and other periodicals.
