Controlled Desperation- Never be desperate again...

I was just reading through some older posts on the forum, and read the "What To Do If When You're Desperate" thread again. The thread is literally filled with exceptional strategies for making money. Then I read another thread about a guy who had a buddy who's house is in foreclosure, and some folks commented that the buddy in question, should in fact, lose the house because of his inability to control his life, finances, income, spending, etc, etc.

Valid points, but, nonetheless, for those wiling to give ideas about getting out of a jam such as that, why not take it a step further and make a strategy on... "How To Never Be Desperate Again."

People in desperate situations will REact, and not act. They may 'act' in 'reaction' to what you're telling them to do to get out of the jam, but unless you show them how to never get in that situation again, there is a good chance they'll be back.

The debate on 'taking action' continues to rage on as many of us point out that taking the wrong action can be just as detrimental as taking no action at all. I don't agree with that 'exactly' because if you take no action at all, you can't make a mistake to learn from. So, controlling desperation will cause 'action' instead of 'reaction.'

Utilizing "The Art of The Upsell" in a desperate situation will not only be enough money to get out of the jam, it will also provide additional money, and a mastered skill, to never get in such a position again.
