Default Have You Been Hacked/Defaced?

This is alarming!

I did a simple google search, related to an affiliate sale credited to me. In the results I saw something that piqued my curiosity. Little did I know what I would discover.

Currently I have a support ticket open with the security division of my hosting account. They tell me that they are "investigating the matter".

Check iNDoNeSiaN DeFaCeR aRCHiVes to see if YOUR site has been compromised.

I cannot access, via the file manager (cpanel), or an external FTP program, the folder that I "can" access via an internet browser.

One random url, from that list is below:
Index of /~grameenk

A google search reveals quite a few of these "hidden" folders... Of course, IMHO, this is only those sites that have been indexed, there likely a lot more...

I highly suspect, as a directory/folder with the same name is on one of my domains, which I did NOT create, and as I mentioned above, can only access via a browser, not via any hosting tools, that this is something that should not be ignored by those affected.

I am still waiting for an update from the security team at my host...

Be Well!

It's really disturbing but you know prevention is better than cure )

The simplest formula to stay safe is to have backup of your website. I repeat backups backups.

have one copy of your website backup at your PC every month. Make your own PC cleaned and scan the data before uploading to your website.
