I love Tweetbeep. You can set it to tell you when a particular phrase or phrases, and then when anyone on Twitter mentions the phrase, you get an email, with the Tweet in it, and you can even click reply right from the email.

So if you have a product if anyone is on there bashing it, you can address the problem immediately. If anyone on there is praising it - I just saw someone on there praising Peter Drew-s Brute Force SEO - you can thank them, join in the conversation, etc.

Especially if the conversation is good - this is a subtle way to get the product name out there again in front of people, because you Tweet and say "Thank you for your kind words about - "whatever"!

Any other tools like that you guys are aware of?

I agree, Tweetbeep is very useful. I have it set up to
alert me on a number of keywords. I get to know how
many people talk about my time in Duran Duran! LOL

I THOUGHT you looked familiar! And you're British so it must be true. You know, I guess if you share a name with a celebrity it would be more difficult to keep track of what people say about you online.

For instance there's some man out there named John Taylor trying to associate HIS name with internet marketing. I think you should sue him for besmirching your good name, John.

  For example, the members of Duran Duran (including John Taylor) were from the same locality as myself. Plus, there is a politician mentioned on there who represented my ward, and also in his other career (as a solicitor) once represented me in another way
