Is accepting PayPal a hinderance?

I have used Clickbank and because a buyer does not need an account it is a nice payment system.

I wondered if needing a buyer to sign up to PayPal, if they don't have an account, will lose you a lot of potential customers?

    You need to have a PayPal account to pay through the PayPal system. You can use your card without having an account with PayPal.

      Paypal does make a very good payment option. Any argument against it will no doubt come from the merchant side or customers who have come to dislike PP.

      I have people that send me checks and money orders because the flat out hate PP for whatever reason. Still, they are far and away in the minority.

    Paypal is so widely accepted across the Internet, I can't see how that would be a hindrance. They make it very simple to sign up if you don't have an account, but so many people already do have accounts.

      Agree. PayPal is probably the most well known online payment method to the average person on the street. I would thing it would be a positive rtaher than a negative.

    I guess if your customers would considering more online purchases then most likely they might be interested to create an account also for future use. I feel that there will be a high possibility of customers creating an account with PayPal.
