YouTube + Ringtone offer conversions?

Hello all,

I am thinking about creating popular Youtube fan videos of pop stars like Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Eminem, etc. I would put my link on the description with an annotation with a call to action to click my ringtone link.

Has anyone here tried this? Or do you know anyone who has?

I was wondering what a reasonable conversion rate would be. Like
X conversions per Y views per month.

Thanks for any input or insights anybody here would have on this.

    After YouTube removes the videos, there will be nothing there to convert.

      I'm not talking about using the official vid. I'm talking about fan-made lyrics vids. There are 1000s of them and some get over 1 mil. views a month
