Any one had success with blogger?

I tried it, but I found that creating my own site was superior. I also found that google does seem to give much preference to blogger. I also have known a couple of big sites that moved away from blogger (ex. Bank Deals). Notice the redirect is still in place.

I have dabbled with blogging, and here is my personal experience with blogger

PROS

1. If you have experience in blogging, SEO, Meta Tags, Etc, than I would totally start blogging on Blogger, you can make some side income and advertise your blog or business, at the same time.

2. I like the fact that there are a lot of neat tricks to play with your HTML as well as Metatags

CONS

1. Have a back up of your Blog on file.
- I accidentally clicked a Google AdSense Ad, on my blog, and it took a day of waiting for me to get my blog back

2. You could have some trouble with some wise guy who decides to click your ads on your blog repeatedly

3. I am not sure about indexing but it does take a bit for a blog to become crawled by Google so that it can be indexed

4. Have some good resources available to learn the differences in Metatags and html for blogger and other sites such as Wordpress


If you have a base knowledge on how to blog onWordPress, then Blogger is worth the effort,

However, you will need to become familiar with the platform of Blogger to really succeed.
