I'm tired of WAITING! Will my articles ever be placed on Google?

Hi I keep writing my articles and sending them on EZA but none of them are even placed in Google.

Even after waiting about a week!

I worked really hard on those articles, and that makes me sad. This blows!

Does anyone know why Google won't place my articles in their search engine?

I have the correct keywords associated in them!

Any serious advice will help...

Thanks~

Just sending an article to EZA and expecting it to get in the top 10 on google is laughable (unless you target niches with next to no traffic). Build some backlinks to the article.

    Hello CC:
My articles always got SOME traffic but I had to get up to about 30 before one hit the ball out of the park.

If you'd like, send me an email to riley@rwestdotcom.com and I'll send you a link to an incredibly effective way to succeed at Article Marketing.

I hope what I just said violates no rules. I'm a straight shooter.

    Thank you

      Hi,

My advise is just keep on writing!

Some of your articles will rank well and others will not!

You just have to keep on going, don't wait to get ranked get on with another article.

How many articles have you written?

I write about 50 to test a niche with Article Marketing!

      Just my 2 pence.

A lot depends on how your writing and structuring your articles, as well as how good your deep linking was backlinks.

Also realize that Google ain't the only girl in town...

You'd be surprised how much traffic you can get from MSN, seriously very easy to get top one through five positions with MSN.

A lot of people ignore MSN, when I mean ignore a mean they don't check MSN to see how their articles are ranking.

MSN will eventually pick up your articles to just like Google.

A lot does depend on how competitive the niche is and what keywords you are targeting.

I agree you need to write quite a few articles to start seeing any traffic.

I highly recommend a book (The Article Marketing handbook) by a fellow Warrior called Allen Graves.

Have a read of this book and you'll be hitting those top ten results.

    Good luck..

    You really have 2 options.

    1. You can QUIT.

    2. You can keep writing articles and keep doing this every single week.

    You really have 2 choices.

    Which one will you pick?

I definitely will go with the 2nd option!

How much does EZA pay you to write and submit articles for them? (rhetorical question)

If you kept your articles, posted them to a themed blog, worked at receiving links to your articles (of related keywords to the theme) from decent PR sites and played with video & social bookkmarking then you would only use EZA as an add-on to your link partners rather than your sole focus in your business model.

You should build a blog network by spreading your articles over multiple tightly themed blogs (pieces of the root theme) that you own and others that you do not (Blogger, Squidoo, Weebly, Hubpages, Wordpress.com etc.)

Social bookmark & build tonnes of links to the free sites 'cause you're using their aged domain authority rather than piling on a tonne of links to a new domain which is sure to catch the attention of Google thus dropping you from the rankings like a lead baloon.

EZA wouldn't be able to touch you on the top fold of page 1 in any SERP if all of the sites (you own & manage) linked back to your "Authority" site.

So you'll have the original work posted on the Authority site with the free sites (blogs) linking back to you from the same article with various anchor text combinations of the keyword you are targetting.

Don't worry about the BS Google Slap or Penalty for dupe content as that only applies to single domains with multiple copies of the same content which you will not have.

Then EZA works for you (via thier massive PR bleed to your Authority site) and not the other way around.

See this which proves the Google Penalty doesn't exist for duplicate content across multiple sites - [I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.] - Google Search

If people are looking for a specific article then every link will be to a copy of that article since you're quoting so much of it that google simply can't find anything else that's an exact match and isn't the MLK speech. But who the hell makes an article to rank for an entire paragraph? People try to rank for small keywords with decent traffic, in which case google will usually (not always, but usually) just post 1 web site with that article and the rest get sent to the bottom. You can avoid this by "cloaking" (and it's possible to cloak accidentally actually), but that's an entire different bird altogether. These results certainly won't appear identical on the google searches and need humans to tell there's the same article on two different top results.

Oh I see, I have written over 10 articles!

I do what people tell me to do, find low competition, high searches, and place the the keyword throughout the article and even on the title...

*Sigh* I wish it was this easy....

Anyway, hopefully I can write one more article and try to get it to be indexed in Google soon~

    Thanks for advices

P.S. Is there any type of site that allows you to check where your article site is a) placed and b) where it is place?

Few things you need to check before your article will rank:

Search Ezinearticles for the keyword that you want to rank, then search Google for the keyword and see if ezinearticles exists in what position.

If Ezinearticle already has someone written the article for it, you must build back links to your article to out rank it, or Google won't show it.

If Ezinearticle already has the article but no where to be found in Google for that keyword, forget about writing the article and try to build back links, because you need a lot of effort before you can tap into search engine top 10 listing!

Do an exact match search for the keyword in the search engine, if the result is 5000 or less, you have a great chance to get rank in the search engine, else you might need some back links before Google starts to show it.

    kkchoon,

How do I search, or where do I go to search Ezine articles for the keyword?

Building back links to articles on EZA?!?

Honestly, sometimes I think the world has gone mad.

If you're going to build backlinks, do it to your own sites.

      Why not? It's:

      a) Easier to rank a page on an authority site like EZA than it is to rank a newbie's web site
      b) Avoid the google slap since you're basically spamming the internet to make money (unless google stops liking EZA)
      c) Most of that authority goes to your site as well, only it's a lot better insulated from google slaps since it looks a lot less like you're building backlinks to a crappy web site to make money.

I posted an article at EZA and made it to the first place in a niche with a couple of searches a day, but now it's not on any of the search engines, same with my top ranking squidoo lens :'(

Yeah that is true, the 3 word keyword half a dozen times may pose a problem....

Yeah me too rag! One article only had very few competition so I was happy - a few of my other articles were placed, but then after a couple of days, Google took them off their search engine completely. This is kind of scary since you never know what's going to happen - they have the leverage
