Bing - Affiliate Sites

So far I've been quite satisfied with watching most of my sites go up gradually in the search engines on some very competitive terms. I do have an affiliate site though where it's gone up gradually in Google and Yahoo but it is nowhere to be found on Bing under probably 25 search terms. Does Bing not like affiliate sites?

Does anyone like really affiliate sites other than their owners?

Seriously though, search engines are mysterious creatures. Maybe that particular site just happened to push the wrong bing buttons

Does your site offer any real content? Such as articles, reviews, videos, pictures,,, that you posted yourself? Or is all of the content pulled from the main affiliate site?

If the site does not offer any real content - besides trying to sell you something - it needs to rank way back in the results pages. So maybe Bing is ranking the site where it needs to be.

It's actually a product I helped develop by funding... it's not something off of Clickbank or anything.... I just figured since the people have a website and they also have affiliates, i thought I'd make a buck or two off of it. I have it ranked under quite a few search terms... just nothing on Bing. I don't really care that much if it ranks on Bing, but was just wondering if that search engine ignored affiliate sites.

If I would have known they were going to make me Pope, I would have studied harder.

It's just a retail site with any number of products to purchase. Most of my sites are retail sites, but I might just be selling one or two different items where I have outside fulfillment to ship items. I've never had a site where I marketed a product that one can download, but I'm launching one next month and am quite excited to see how that goes.

Bing like yahoo look for different optimisation points than google. You should make sure you have your on page seo down for bing. Just add more content and pages to your site even if the links aren't exposed on your homepage
