Okay...

Internet Marketing is not easy. There is no magical way to make tons of money when you first start out...

I know many of you so-called gurus can just say: "outsource it!" for the difficult parts... but coming from someone who just started earlier this year, thats not a good option. This may sound stubborn to you, but I do not want to outsource anything until I can get the hang of each and every part. I want to know how to do the job before I tell others how...

Some struggle with copywriting, article writing, PPC, etc...

Lets sift through all the BS and hype around the forums. Lets post our weakness with honesty. If that is a strength of someone else, why not offer a suggestions or an action plan to improve?

What is/was the most difficult task for you?

If, and this is an important if, you mean that you don't want to blindly trust others to do something for you and hope they are doing it correctly, than sure I'll agree.

But if you mean that just for the sake of pride you have some unshakable need to *know* how to do something before you will let anybody else do it, I say *have fun with that*. If you owned another business, like a car dealership, would you not hire people to do jobs unless you did it first?

I don't like writing. I don't like writing long copy, I don't like writing articles, I don't like writing in general...so I don't. Besides, I have better things to do. Now, I'm no management or outsourcing expert by any means, but I know where my strengths are and it is not writing. I'm just not a word savvy cat, my strengths lie in analysis and programming, and traffic generation.

However, I know what I want done, I know how I want it done, I know how to be an *editor* when I need to be, and I don't mind paying for the level of quality I want. Next step, is to hire an in house designer to crank out LP's for me, and to answer the phone and tell my wife I'm NOT drunk and asleep in the back again...

Each different phase has it's own challenges. You will find that you are good at some things that other people struggle with. I hate doing ppc stuff but I'm doing quite well selling offline seo fulltime.

I thought outsourcing would be hard, but my first dabbles have been really successful.

What is hard? I think some of IM is monotonous and I can do without that. I have recently implemented some macros which have helped, but if I had to pick one thing I could do without it would be the monotonous tasks that are repetitive and well.... boring.

    Whats hard for you?
Finding the time to make the content for my sites, and have time for my family.

Filming the videos, editing the videos, taking pictures, writing the articles, uploading the video, posting unique articles on my blog and forum.

And still find time to spend with my family in there.

What do you use for video creation/editing?

Are you camera-shy... or do you get in front of it?

Filming - I use one of three cameras:

        Canon D10
        Canon SD750
        JVC Everio 120

        Editing - windows movie maker

I appear in my videos all the time - my youtube channel was opened in april 2007. In the past 3+ years I have posted almost 400 of my own home made videos.

The last video I posted had me and my son in it, we were showing a light weight / backpacking water filter while on a recent trip to the river.

I have 2 more videos filmed, all they need is editing and uploading to youtube.

One of the next videos is about a fishing trip my son and I went on. It shows us riding in the boat, catching a few fish, and exploring some of the cuts off the river.

The other video that needs to be uploaded later this week is about a home based water filter.

I don't think things will be hard if you have the eagerness and the passion to do such thing. Maybe, at the start but if you really love what you're doing then everything will be easier.

Agree with it. With passion, something will be easier to do. At first, I don't believe it so I try to promote niche that I haven't any passion about it and then the result is I'll always get stuck. It's really tiring and hard to get the idea.

Yes Internet marketing is no so easy and we can not earn money in days and month. We can expect large amount of money in earlier days. These are our starting days and we have to work hard in the beginning to succeed and then we get some success. We should adopt umber of different strategies.

I am right with you abednego. I started with nothing and couldn't outsource at all. I had to do every single aspect of the job. I think this helped me overall in the end though. I was easily able to layout what I needed done to my outsourcers once I knew the steps required by heart.

The most difficult step for me when doing all the work was actually getting up and doing it all. I would always do one task or two things, but I had 6 to do that day. I got side tracked a lot. I would be writing an article, then I saw a new great post on the WF...break time! lol.

I would say learn the steps required, but don't hesitate to outsource. As soon as you can do it, get one. If you do your homework and get a good one, you will see big results in your business much quicker...and you will enjoy life more lol.

    PROCRASTINATION!

That's my hardest obstacle to overcome. Especially when you find yourself earning "good money"! You lose the fear and some of the more monotonous tasks become extremely hard to get done!
