Need Help From UK Guys On Hosting

Hi guys,

I am looking for a good hosting company that can host unlimited add-on domains (really am looking for 50-100) that is based out of the UK (ie., has a UK server). In the states, Bluehost works fine, what would be the equivalent over there?

Also, if these are hard to find as I suspect, would it be better idea to get a reseller hosting and host the sites myself. For those who have done this, what do you set the bandwidth limits at to avoid having to go back in and keep changing each site? I have this type of account for some adsense sites I run and it is always exceeding the bandwidth limits forcing me to go back in and adjust them.

    Heart Internet found here.

Their reseller hosting should be everything you need...and as they say, so much more!

Disclaimer: Although I don't use their service personally, I know the owners and some of my uk company guys rent a bunch of their servers.

Yup, I am in the UK and would also recommend Heart, I use them myself.

The reseller hosting account is thirty quid a month for unlimited domains and the user cp is pretty good with built in wordpress installation and stuff like that.

The hosting account I am using has ~fifty sites running on it at the moment and never had an issue with bandwidth. Having said that they are small sites which are pretty light on bandwidth so I doubt I use very much, best to check up on that yourself.

B/c I am promoting this website towards a UK audience. I already have a site devoted to the US. Most people (me included) believe the search engines like it better if the site is promoted on a server based out of that country.

If getting a .co.uk domain is possible then get it, they get big boost is uk searches.

1&1's UK package has an IP based in germany but I still rank well in UK serps, so if its a UK IP you want avoid 1&1.

Whatever you do do not go with UK2! They have cost me a lot of money with all their screw ups.

I host with 1&1, their support isn't amazing but its cheap and fits my purpose.
