Need Your Opinoin

I just used a service that is provided here on the forum, blog commenting.
As I'm looking through the report and checking a few of the posts, I can't help but wonder how useful these links really are. (the links I checked were dofollow) But.

In every post that I have checked there are hundreds of comments with links away from the site. I've always been told that a page with hundreds of links on it is pretty much useless. Please give me your insight on this.

    I'm assuming the service generates a high number of comments on other's blogs, bot style?

    Yuck. Do yourself a favor and cut the competitive marketing tactics out, at least if you want to get ahead of the struggling herd.

    Visit top blogs, read their posts, learn and make an insightful comment. Do what creators do, you will make more money in the long run. Think Big Picture instead of small paycheck.

      Yup with Ryan on this one, persoanlly think automated or services that do blog post commenting are a waste of time now, having an outbound link on a page with hundreds of outbound links is not a lot of value unless it is a whopping authority page.

      Better to look for relevent blog posts and give value in your comment, persoanlly I very rarely use blog commenting anymore just don't see the results I used to from it.

        Thank you for your insight. I used the service hoping to get a quick boost in backlinks, had I known it would have been on pages with hundreds of links already I wouldn't have used it.
