Hey guys,

I'm getting ready to launch my Squeeze Page and I want to do proper split testing, so I have it all set before the launch, but I'm not too sure how this works.

How many split tests do YOU usually test on each site? Should I be doing split tests for every single detail?

For example, I want to try my squeeze page 3 different ways:
  1. Text with bullet points
  2. Video, non auto play.
  3. Video, auto play
Is that a good start? Which website do I use to do the split tests? For each page I am testing, do I change the Aweber tracking code?

    Use Google's Website Optimizer.

It will tell you when the test is finished.

Also, just test the headline to get started.

I agree, use Google Website Optimizer.

Like Lance said, start by testing one element of the page at a time. Don't try to many variations. Split testing to many elements on the page simultaneously makes it difficult to determine which is responsible for your change in conversions.

Google Website Optimizer will let you know when you have a winner for your split test, then you can run that against a new version.

Thanks guys. I'll stick to one at a time then, I'll just do the text bullets and then the video with auto play. Then maybe a headline change later on.

I'll check out Google Website Optimizer!
