Default Promoting WSO which are not your own

I have received a couple of emails from different people who are promoting a WSO.

As it from different people you would be right in assuming that they are not running the WSO.

I'd imagine that there is an affiliate program and they get paid a commission.

They are not sending people to the WSO but the sales page, and giving the same discount code as is in the WSO.

I know we can tell our list when we have a wso, but can we send them to any other wso sales page, and give them the discount code, just so we can get the affiliate commission.

What if there is nothing in it for you and you just think it's a great offer that somebody else posted? Is it OK to "promote" it to others?

I've told my list about other WSOs, when I think it's something of interest. Of course, I send them to the WSO. No commission involved, but it's a good service to my members and a helping hand for a fellow Warrior. I believe in "I'll scratch your back, and you scratch mine."

I direct my list to the warrior forum rather than the sales page even for my own WSO because that is the right thing to do. The WSO should be only available at the warrior forum.

(Besides I think the higher thread view count helps)

Cases like that are fine, but if someone is using this forum as basically some type of affiliate program that is not cool.

Also not cool is running some offer somewhere and calling it a WSO. A WSO not 'here' is not a WSO.
