Hello warriors Throught i'd come on here and ask for some help on a issue i am Having regarding Flippa and Paypal Dispute.

I purchased a new business website last week whch is Clickbank ready designed website and had no psd or website sent after payment,The website cost me 200 dollars and i paid by paypal on flippa. The Seller never accepted escrow just paypal. The seller said in the auction he would do the following:
  • set up the site on clickbank vendors page
  • pass and push domain/website/business psd files over from flippa after sale.
  • set up all the affilate/bonus pages/sales landing pages
  • free hosting included also
Yet i have emailed the seller and spoke by flippa but not received anything. I have now gone for a full lodged complaint on flippa regarding the seller in question and a claim on Paypal for the 200 dollars with the words "chargeback" included. But im a little worried because of the paypal side of things because i know how im at there mercey to reslove this and get the money back.

Can help me by any tips or advice on how i can reslove this the seller is not responding to my emails or phone calls regarding the matter, How could i back my self up to prove this is i know paypal can lock accounts with disputes ect?

Looking forward to your answers and thank you for reading my post.

Well, I would think that if the seller didn't send you anything, you'll get your money back. PayPal almost always rules in the favor of the buyer when a dispute is filled for digital products (provided the money was sent via the Send Money" method).

    Andrew,

Complete the PayPal dispute form. I think there is an option that basically states the you received nothing in lieu of your payment. At that point, they generally require the seller to prove that item was shipped or conveyed.

While they are pretty adamant about this for physical purchases, digital purchases don't enjoy the same assurance. In the case of digital, it's more of a challenge.

Let Flippa and seller know that you will take this step, then give them 3 to 4 business days to respond. Strange, I always thought Flippa was pretty good with this type thing. Don't the hold the funds for a certain period until buyer satisfaction is affirmed?

Keep us posted on your progress, I think this may be important and educational for Warriors who utilize Flippa auctions as buyers or sellers.

    Best Regards,

Sounds like a scammer if you ask me.

$200 isn't cheap. I've had a few queries with paypal but to be honest as long as you open up a dispute, explain your side of the story correctly and paypal should look into it for you.

They'll try and get in contact with him and sort it all out. However, as you say it's up to paypal and it's at their discretion (unfortunately). Hopefully the should hold the amount of money in question and resolve it.

To be honest paypal can sometimes be a really long and drawn out process.

    I sincerely wish you luck.

    Hope you found this useful

    Good luck mate

Open a dispute in PayPal. Since the seller doesnt hasn't given you the stuff he won't have any records that he did. This happened to me once. PayPal returned my money. Hope this helps.

Make sure you open a Paypal dispute. Flippa actually can't do anything except ban the scammer. Paypal will most likely side with you in this matter, particularly since it's a did not receive merchandise matter. When it is escalated to a claim, and you can escalate it to a claim at any time that you want to, make sure you have the link to the sales page, provide a screenshot to the current whois data for the domain to show that they did not transfer the domain to you, etc. These are good things to have as proof documents, so make sure you have that. If he doesn't rectify it in a couple of days, I would escalate it to a claim. That's when Paypal gets involved and makes a decision.

Wow alot of great advice Thank you all Warriors for the feedback.

i love the people in this forum very helpful,

Here is the update I have waited up to a week now from dispute with paypal and have esclated it to a claim and placed all the infomation to how i have contacted the seller via mobile phone email and private messenging and also the products website i purchased yet not received,

as for flippa the seller has 20 hours to reply from a 72 hour wait period before they respond yet i have noticed the seller has 7 sites already up on sale right now.

Just throught i'd write back and say thank you for all the great advice to you warriors who responded it seems a great site flippa but stay frosty when you are buying or selling online there some great members on flippa and no disrespect to them its just a shame there is some bad apples on the site also that ruin it for other people.
