Need Help Editing Wordpress Twenty Ten Theme

Im using the included "Twenty Ten" theme and trying to remove the "Posted on [date] By [author]" line from the posts on the blog page. I have managed to tinker with the editor and get that information to disappear on the single post page, but cannot find/figure out exactly how to get rid of that info on the "blog" page. ( I set up a static front page and chose a page titled "blog" to be the posts page )

Any help would be appreciated (everyone should have access to this theme as its included by default )

Ernie, I haven't had a chance to suss that out, but you may want to look in the 'loop.php' file. This adds the loop function to several types of pages. Look for the same basic code that you found on the single posts page.

If that doesn't help, you might try asking in the Wordpress forum...

Edit: I did some more digging, too. Must be something with the new hooks that we aren't aware of yet. I'd head for the WP forum...

Thanks, I did try that and removed all the instances I saw but it apparantly didnt change anything. ( I made sure to remove cookies before checking ) I could have missed something or just not done it right.

thanks a bunch, I think I actually took care of it when i deleted that code line from the loop.php file ( 3 times ) but i think the super cache plugin was keeping me from seeing the new output

I was just about to mention to deactivate the super cache plugin to make sure you are seeing the changes instantly. That threw me off a few times recently.
