Advice needed: What is the best keyword tool for generating huge keyword lists?

Yea I use market samuri and Keyword Elite on occations.

Marketing Samurai is head-and-shoulders above anything else on the 'net.

However, it is a little expensive.

The best free tool is the Google keyword tool found in
Adwords.

MS is the best keyword tool out there. Yes it is expensive but it's worth it. What you'll find is that if you have a list of 1000 or more is that about 1/2 of those phrases don't get searched for. MS allows you to anaylze the top 10 competition so you can see what you need to do to rank in the top 10.

What the value of having "huge keyword list"?
I wrote a script that analyzes raw web server log files and showed me all search queries that different buying customers used repeatedly before making a purchase.
Now i know exactly which keywords i should target to make money.

While I've not used Jon Ledger's 'Keyword Snatcher', I think that should be what you're after.

There's another WSO by 'Hostie' that does something similar, IIRC.

Otherwise, Market Samurai hands down.

I have found Market Samurai to be just what I like - They have a trial period too, so you can check it out.

I already own quite a few keyword tools which includes my own developed tool. But none can produce 1000s of keywords at one go. Even Keyword Elite is too slow for me.

If you want an unlimited amount of keywords then try Keyword Ninja...info in my sig

If you want a very targeted list of 200 or so keywords then just use Google's keyword tool.

to get a really big list try The Free Keyword Tool from WordStream - Free Keywords for SEO, AdWords, & Blogging

they will give you lists up to 10,000. you have to sign up as a free member.
The list will include your main word so you will probably have to run a few
different searches to the the hang of how they output. They email you the list
as a csv. In smaller niches you may want to choose smaller result sizes or you will get your word plus a foreign language word added to it, for example.

You do not get competition, just a big hanging list of keywords. I take the list and start dropping it into Market Samurai at about 500 at a time. I find if I drop too many into MS it crashes.

If you hit their home page Internet Marketing Software - Search Marketing Tools for SEO & PPC | WordStream look for the Free Tools section. I just noticed while grabbing the links for this post they have a new SEO Plugin and a SEO Keyword management tool I'll have to go check out.

Their blog is one of the better SEO blogs too by the way and while I am on that topic I may as well mention Alltop - Top SEO (Search Engine Optimization) News where you can almost every top SEO blog on one page with the titles of their last 5 posts. If you like SEO budget at least an hour before you hit that page.

Happy to know I purchased the right tool for keyword research: Market Samurai Whoa~ That makes me a lot MORE HAPPY than I could think I could've been. WOW!
