Faster way for KW research

Hi all,

i seem to be spending so much time on keyword reseach it's driving me crazy. Is it worth buying something like micro niche finder and if so how much time will it save me.

Also any thoughts on keywords and domain names. I have found a good keyword but the domain name is taken. Is it ok to add a dash or an extra letter or word to get the keyword i want in there somewhere.

Thanks in advance.

If you found a good keyword, but the domain name is took, try to combine the words with 2 popular keywords, and you will can take a good domain name! Always when I see that for my KW the domain is took, I try to combine the words, and it works!

I think it is fine to add a dash or maybe an extra small word to the domain as long as it has your main keyword. My favorite KW tool is Market Samurai(I have Micro Niche finder also but use Samurai instead).

I use Micro Niche Finder. Saves a huge amount of time. Others use Market Samurai. Either one will save you time and find better keywords.

market samurai is good for keyword research.

You don't have to have the exact keyword as you domain name.

For example the keyword you are targeting is "dog training"

You can break it up like this dog-training.com or bestdogtrainig.com

As long as the keyword is in there somewhere.

I use MicroNiche Finder and Market Samurai both. I find that they compliment each other in a lot of respects.
I used the Google Keyword tool when I first started out in IM and I was amazed at the difference when I switched over to MicroNiche Finder. I would be lost without MNF or Market Samurai now.

Many thanks for all the excellent replies, they have been very useful.

I think in the coming days i will invest in one of these tools as the manual way is so time consuming.

        Cheers guys

Me too Joe. But as commented on another thread I sometimes get waylaid (pirate term?) when MNF throws up a RED for something that MS tells me has potential (like some gaps in the competition table). As I am happy to work hard to get to a top ten listing I feel MNF's signal is geared to IM-ites who do not want much work. MNF can therefore find gold nuggets more easily perhaps(?).

Any comment on this from your experience?

Zimbizee - as noted above - download the free trial for Market Samurai as it also includes a 7 day full-function trial and BIG discount on normal full price. Don't just buy the tool outright, although to be honest, it is really worth that and lots more. Excellent aid. And watch all the videos on the MS Dojo too. Priceless, free, and well produced - whatever tool you use.

Buy Market Samurai if you can. It'll save you some time, and also give you a LOT of other killer stuff you can make serious bank with. It'll also help you with the domain names you're talking of.

TBH, It's far, FAR better than MNF and does a whole lot more, too. Just my opinion, of course. And yep, I have both.

Otherwise, keep doing some manual research for a few sites. When you hit a few homeruns, buy MS.
