Newbie? Listen To These People In WF

Hey all, I just wanted to say a something to all of the new people looking to break into IM. STAY HERE AND LEARN.

I have said it before in here, and I just wanted to say it again, take in the knowledge here and soak it up like a sponge. If you have never made a single dime online, pay attention to these folks and you will if you apply the information.

Look I am a freelance writer and dabbled in IM for awhile. But after applying some techniques brought forth in this forum, purchasing a couple of ebooks, and developing my own strategy based on all this information, I am currently making money daily... yes, while I sleep.

I am nobody special. Quite frankly, if I can be successful doing this anybody can do this.

Just one more example of just how valuable the learning experience here is:

TWO days ago I made a sick (and by sick I mean terribly bad) 3 page site on Blogger. Good content, poor everything else. Did NOT purchase a domain. As a matter of fact did not spend a single dime on the whole thing.

Applied a couple of techniques that a fellow member here shared. Now for some reason, the site has not been indexed yet by Google. But despite the look, despite the completely free method and despite the fact it is not even indexed yet....I made a sale on it last night.

There is no reason, and I mean NO reason, why you cannot be successful in IM. The only thing stopping you....is you.

Hey thanks for the advice, though I was going to stay here even before I saw this post.

But the thing is, that it's very hard to find actually good and usefull content around here. Yes, I know there is alot of it here, but there is also alot of stuff that I knew allready or has no actual value at all.

How did you start to find valuable content?

Use the search function on the upper right.

I have to say that it is not difficult at all to find good and useful content. Page ONE ALONE is nothing but good, useful content. C'mon, "How To make A Full Time Living With PLR", "How To make Money In 5 Steps".. All kinds of questions being answered.. no useful content??

And don't forget that if this is stuff you already know, many do not. Plus you may have a different method to share as well. Give and take.

Actually what I was trying to say, I think, was that when you first come to WF one might feel overwhelmed by the amount of content.

Yes will be doing that, I just signed up this week, and I haven't actually ever published stuff like this, so I want to refine it. I don't want to post junk, just because I can't relay a good idea.

Yeah, there is so much stuff in this forum, I need to keep reminding myself to try and improve my site instead of trolling through these threads

Thanks for sharing that Ken, I've been so focused on answering questions and cruising the forum that I forgot the search function :0

Ditto on that. I've learned techniques over the past few months which quickly resulted in sign-ups. Stick around and soak it up.

There is a wealth of information here, I still get in information overload sometimes. There just is not enough time in the day to implement all the techniques.

Keep visiting but don't spent too much time hanging around here when you know that you should be working. The more you work, the faster you will make money.

    Thanks for sharing this.

Yes. I do agree there is too much information in this forum and that's the reason why I didn't participate actively even that I have signed up since Feb. I didn't know where to start!

Then I started to realise that I myself can be the "filter" to keep away from too much information.

Now, I am participating in this forum for two purposes - 1. To give 2. To learn.

I try to restrict myself to spend one hour here. I will check "Today's Post" first. Glance through them. If there are questions that I can contribute, I will go in and give my comments; If there are people talking about techniques that I can apply IMMEDIATELY to my business I will continue to read the post. If they are good stuff, I bookmark and subscribe.

Why IMMEDIATELY is important? Because information is useless unless you can "use" it. You only have that much time to read that much. I filter out those that are not applicable to me, and only select those that are useful to my business right now. For example, I want to drive more traffic to my site now so I will only read posts that relevant to it.

Then if I have time, I will go to subforum to mess around. Kidding. I mean to have fun.

    Hope this helps.

So it seems to me that there is a surge in newbies today from the questions and topics being posted.

Or is it just another day on WF

There is a lot of valuable information here. However you will need to filter those information which are useful for you and which you can implement and make some money out of it.

Search is handy but sometimes some questions deserve a separate thread. I found a lot of interesting threads about amazon associates using search. So much to learn. Thanks ken.

To everyone that's getting overwhelmed - just remember to take it one step at a time. No matter how much information you soak up, you can only implement that info/task one step at a time (hopefully that made sense lol).

With that being said, I remember when I first started lurking around the Warrior Forum and I would read posts by people that were saying how great this forum is...

      Now I know why.

This has to be the best forum/community I've ever been apart of and full of the most friendly and helpful people I've ever met. Just the information that's given away FREELY in the posts can give you so many ideas/tips/advice on how to start the type of IM business that you want. In other words, it's priceless.

And yes, the search function is your friend. The only search button I use more than the one on WF is Google lol.
