Google Adwords & Clickbank Products

So like most noobs, when I first started back in May, I thought it would be easy. I promoted Clickbank Products with Google Adwords via direct linking. £200 and 1000 clicks later, I realised it didn't work.

Soon after I got into SEO and made my money back and a bit more, and decided to give Google Adwords another shot. This time I designed my own landing page to hopefully increase conversions. So far.. 256 Clicks, 0 sales.

My question: Is anybody making consistant profit from promoting clickbank products through Google Adwords? I don't mind testing, creating new landing pages and spending a bit more money, I just want to know if this is working for others.

    Google has been cracking down on afiliates big time. I was making 3K a month and it got taken away from me in one day. If I were you I'd make sure they approve your sites manually first before spending the time to build n effective campaign. I didn't think my sites were in violation of their TOS but I guess I was wrong.

    I'm someone who is making money with PPC and Clickbank. I used Adwords and I was profitable, but I stopped ALL campaigns to concentrate on another advertising network with much cheaper traffic.

    You have to CRACK the code. Like everyone else, I was also making no sale from 300 clicks until I realised who to GET THE VISITOR buy the product. The landing page and the product that you promote is the key to success. If there is a little failure in on or both things, you can forget about it...     Obviously.

    I didn't ask for secrets or methods, I asked for confirmation that it works, so I know I'm not wasting my time.

    I asked the same question in the off PPC forum the other day here is my wisdom.
    It all depends on how cheap you are getting your clicks for e.g. weight loss CB products no way you are using adwords.

    SO if your 256 clicks were cheap enough and your keywords targeted enough you should sell. But boy adwords has a way of taking your money quckly and giving no Joy so I wonder if its worth it .
