You can password protect a folder in C Panel and load your pages into that.

If you don't need a password you can put "no follow no index meta tags in your page source code:

<meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow">

Like James said, password protect the folder then put a page inside it.

So you have http://yoursite.com

Then create your protected folder in cpanel, let's say you call it "protectedfolder".

The create your protected page: "protectedpage.html"

Then put your page inside the folder: So your structure is: http://yoursite.com/protectedfolder/protectedpage.html

OK?

If you want http://yoursite.com/protectedpage.html you're going to need some additional software or coding - and to what benefit?

Hi BJ,

Since you already have DLGuard, you might as well use that - DLGuard can protect a page so only your customers can access it, and each customer will have their OWN login details, not the same one for everyone.

Just link a membership group to the product you're selling, and then everyone that buys your product will get access to the members area.

cheers
Sam

I just did that for a keyword tool with DLG - by far the best solution.
