There was a Warrior last week who made a comment about not caring about people here, as it was just a forum. I countered how most of my friends in IM were met here in the Warrior Forum, and how we did care for each other. You guys have proven my point!

Thank you for all the well wishes. Not just here, but in e-mail, on Skype, and via Facebook.

As Jim said above, lots of life lessons were learned from my father. He was a strict, no-nonsense Swiss, and made sure I did the right thing. I think the worst is going to be this September, when we go to the hometown and he won't be there with his red wine, cheese, and Buendnerfleisch (local dried meat).

Again, thanks Warriors.

Wow! Thanks all. Yeah, will raise a glass of red wine to him. He loved a good red wine. Think that's where I got it from.

Seeing this many people lining up to give condolences makes me think of what it will be like at our old church on Tuesday. Seems like half the town of Klosters will be turning out.

My father would be chuffed to know about this. He would have no idea what a forum is. I tried once to explain e-books to him. LOL, that was a disaster in communication.

My Dad is my best friend. I can't imagine what that feels like. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts. And I'll crack a bottle of red wine in honor of the guy who brought us the Hamster King. (Did he have a favorite charity?)

Update: The official service was held on Tuesday in our old stone church in Klosters. A large portion of the town attended.
