Best examples of landing pages...

As I work on tuning up my own, I am looking around at other examples. The only problem is that there are so many different ones and everyone claims their's does well. I'm not looking for a standard template to copy, I am just curious about collecting knowledge from a variety of quality sources. Can anyone link to examples of sales or squeeze pages that they know convert at a respectable percentage?

    The landing page has to build curioisity... If it ain't doing that, it's not going to convert.

    When david deangelo had his first dyd landing page, he had the "kiss test - how to tell if she's ready to be kissed". And his squeeze page converted like crazy back then...

    But I don't know if it will convert that well now coz it's been removed. I have a squeeze page that converts at over 30%. But why would I wanna reveal that to you?

    Its a simple formula... Your page has to do these things:

    - Grab attention
    - A strong benefit - their desire
    - Invoke curiousity - this particular technique will satisfy their desire in the best possible way
    - Call to action - enter your name and email address so that I can email it over to you.

    Along with privacy policy... Sign up for John Carltons newsletter and observe their recommendations...

    Building squeeze pages is like writing articles and emails... Instead of getting the click, you are getting the optin. That's the difference. And only the end step - call to action and privacy differs. Other than that it's the same.

    When it comes to a sales page, a few more steps are required/

    - overcoming objections
    - price point

    Otherwise its all the same.
