"marketing friendly" video sites

A lot of the more effective video sites do not like any sort content that is commercial in nature.

I am making videos for some of my local clients, and I'm wondering which video sites are OK with videos with 'commercial content'.

I haven't had problems with:
youtube
dailymotion
metacafe
sevenload

but that's it.

Any others anybody has had success with?

I am also looking for video sites that allow this. Thanks for this list of sites and I hope others can add more to it.

Revver is another safe one. Given that they offer a PPV system for people who embed their videos it's pretty commercially safe all round.

really? cool - I thought they were strict about it. I'll give it a try.

Well I did have a quick look through their TOS before mentioning it and all seemed to be in order.

That said it still wouldn't hurt you to spend a little time having a closer look than my cursory read just to be sure.

If you have a youtube account - then take a look at break.com You can transfer your video from youtube to break, without having to upload it again.

revver must have changed their terms of service - because they used to reject my videos right and left.

Its funny that you mentioned revver, last week I got an email saying they approved 2 of my videos - which were uploaded 6 months ago.

Almost all video sites allow commercials. You can also provide useful content that all sites will allow. Just make 'em educational.

But the TOS on a lot of them specificly say no videos of a commercial nature.

Veoh for example - I thought they were cool with it, but they disabled a local clients account for it. It was some pretty good "action" video footage related to their industry, and I put their website address at the bottom of the video and map at the end of it.

You may also benefit from ezs3.

I prefer self-hosted solutions, they are just as fast and you have total control of your content.

I know that Ustream is pretty flexible with whatever, but your video has to be produced using their system. That being said, if you download the Ustream producer software client, you can import video clips that can be replayed at whatever point in your broadcast that you choose. You can even make the broadcast the replay if you start the cast and just play the uploaded vid and then quit the cast when you're done.

I have no idea what kind of search love you get from Ustream shows though. Offhand I can't ever recall anything showing up in search results - but that doesn't mean anything.

I would agree with the S3 comment above. If you want to go that route, EZS3 (monthly charge) is good and so is Mike Stewart's S3 Media Player (one time fee). Have them host it and you can do whatever you want with it.
