Why are my search results in Firefox completely different with that in IE?

Hi Warriors,

I find this quite confusing. When I searched for one of my keywords in Firefox, my site is number 2. But when I used IE for that same keyword, my site is number 10.

I tried another keyword from a different site using Firefox, my site is number 2 again. But in IE, it's number 16?

I'm using google.com itself, not a country-specific google. Could any expert let me know what's going on?

    Firefox and Internet explorer are browsers not search engines that does not make any sense. You are using Google on both I assume. It should not make a difference. That is bizarre not sure why that is happening I myself would like to know the reasoning for this.

    I think if you click on the website through one browser, cache or cookies are set onto that browser and next time you search through that browser, the website's position will be higher up.

    Not 100% sure on this though.

    You are obviously logged into your google account via cookies in Firefox.

    For me it does not make any difference at all, even with Yahoo and Bing searches.
