What is the point of PLR articles???

Are there any people out there using them as their main website content and still getting on 1st page of google?

Or, are they useless apart from using them for spin content and backlinks.

What do think?

I'm thinking of using them as part of my main content but i'd like to know if anyone has this before and what results before going for it.

With PLR content you really want to rewrite it to make it unique. The last thing you want is to be competing with dozens of 'identical' articles, that's providing your content see's the light of day within the 'main' index, which it probably won't. Rewrite!

You can use them as your main content, of course you want to use only good quality PLR because some of it can be real crap. I have plenty of PLR articles that are ranked high and get traffic. I don't usually rewrite them, but I do get backlinks to them.

Some other uses for PLR include:

    1. Use them as part of your autoresponder series
    2. Compile them into a report and use it as an incentive for people to sign up to your list
    3. Make more reports with them and submit to doc sharing sites
    4. Use them as paragraphs for a video article
    5. Rewrite the paragraphs so they can stand on their own and compile them into a huge list of tips. Then use the paragraphs in different articles/reports.
    6. Buy a whole bunch on 1 topic and make them into a book you can sell on the kindle or publish in softcover on Amazon.

Thanks for reply but.... that wasn't very helpful.

Are you sayin that you know how to use them but you're not telling?

Are you saying i didn't ask the right question, if i didn't what's the right question to ask?

      Never mind

There are many benefits of PLR. One benefit i would like to point out is that you'll find PLR articles of demanding niche topics. So from that you can find out content for particular niche if you don't have any.

I use plr to make good money, I usually make it unique or turn it into video. But I do have plr ranked high in the search engines and a good percentage of my income comes from niche PLR

Here's a post I made on the warrior forum about it. http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...el-rights.html

PLR (the quality kind, not the garbage!) can be used in alot of different ways. You can use it to create an ebook or a newsletter series, or you can use it as a basis for your blog. Or, you can use it to create a podcast.

The biggest benefit you can get out of good PLR is the research. Sure, you will have to do some rewriting to make it unique (if you're going to post it online anywhere), but it's like getting a solid rough draft for a research paper. Think about back to your school days - if someone went to the library for you and did all of the research for your term paper, then wrote up a rough draft for you, how much time would that have saved you? Quality PLR works the same way.

I actually wrote a free email series totally devoted to PLR and what you can do with it. If you're interested, click the link in my sig, and head to the PLR page to sign up.

Nicole hit the nail on the head...QUALITY PLR and junk PLR are two totally different things. Sadly both have purposes but the point is still the same...

The point is to save you time and effort so you can focus on other areas of building your business...
