leverage, any input is highly appreciated :)

Hi,

I have 3 authority websites in different niches that hardly pay their own rent. They are all old and established with original content, but I haven't promoted them for a while.

Looking at the new product launch by Mike Filsaime, Traffic Zombie, noticed that he managed to put a one page website for a keyword with a good amount of competition with and without quotes on first page.

And he did it with around 200 back links.

Snooping around I found a couple of tricks in relation with the product, but will not get into my snooping addiction here...

the main strength is that those links where diversified, relevant websites (not web 2.0 mostly, there were some blogspot) and anchor text. Most were blogs, not necessarily big stuff...

this ties with a website I administer, that got to pr 3 with lil promotion last year, and the main source was a 3 ways blogroll link exchange we did with ONE related website, plus a bunch of social interaction and some forum posting.

So what I would like to know if do you guys think there is room to leverage these websites by selling backlinks from the sidebar (blogroll style)?

I'm not into the backlinks market so I have no idea... someone has experience on this?

Sandra
