Best Steps for No-to-Low Cost Promotion
I've been studying for about 2 1/2 months now and have quite a bit of information I've gathered, but I still don't have a solid plan to execute. I've got half a dozen blogs, a few web sites and no sales yet, but that's understandable because I figured I'd have to get some blogs and sites up before I can promote them. The blogs are amazon.com monetized (3 of them) and click bank monetized (3 diet niche blogs). I bought domain names that should allow me to rank on page 1 of Google fairly easily and quickly. Only one has, and that ranked page 1 position 5 in less than 2 days (ipod4review.com). It's now number 8. No clicks on my Amazon links, and only 32 unique visitors in a month to that blog. All I did with that one was ping to social networking sites.
I'm starting this thread in the hopes that between myself and others we can come up with a basic, standard marketing plan and schedule that will not upset Google, get to the top page of Google, and start buiding a list and/or generate sales as quickly as possible. No black hat but grey hat (pushing white hat to the limit) is fine.
I'll compile all these notes into a step-by-step guide, with execution options and a full schedule, in ebook format, and give it away here on Warrior Forum.
So with blogs and a few sites in place, let's say the general schedule will include unique content posting, article marketing, pinging social network sites, building a twitter account for each niche, and various social marketing tactics such as blog commenting, and forum posting. Other things will include setting up traffic driving sites like pages on Hub Pages and Squidoo and backlinking. Options will include using tools like SENuke and others, and outsourcing as things build up. I am open to all good ideas. The bottom line is this plan needs to work for people who use it. It will be updated as the need arises.
What I'm looking for here is to construct a 'daily schedule' using all these elements, with vairous options, to get a blog or site indexed, on the Google front page and driving targeted traffic as soon as possible.
