Question Re: WSO Niches - Telemarketing Solutions For Offliners

I have been a member for awhile and I know a few things... so I wonder from time to time, and have never taken action on it, "whats the real potential for creating & selling a $12.00 wso, in the form of a 30 page report"?

Like say: How well can you do your first time out? Any examples?

As I see it, it seems there a few "real needs" going on here at the warrior forum... one example: "People need telemarketing solutions for offline marketing".

So would a report on that subject do well?

What is a decent first time expectation in terms of number of sales?

Is it a guide teaching people how to cold call?

It only costs 20bucks to launch a wso, so why not try?

      I agree,

Even giving away a free product - its a good $20 investment...

I thought you needed to be a War Room Member before you were allowed to post anything in those sections? So that would mean it would cost an upfront fee of $57 for your first one and another $19 to use the WSOPro platform.

Or did I grossly misunderstand something when I first signed up here?

You got it about right mainstreetcm. But it is well worth it. Plus you can leave off WP if you want to.

If I didn't use WSOPro I would need to find another delivery option for my product though wouldn't I? I guess that is where I am confused about the whole thing.

Sure I understand the front end of things, but how a customer actually receives a product is what escapes me.

            Hi,

Until WP came along we just uploaded to our own hosting account, sometimes password protected most times not. Also there is always e-Junkie.com Very nice and comes with a free trial. WP makes it very easy but it's certainly not a must have. Oh, and don't forget you can always deliver via email.

Delivering by email? Like individually emailing as an attachment every time someone orders? lol I think the $19 might be worth it to avoid keeping track of all the chaos. Or am I being stupid and not understanding?

I've checked out ejunkie, but it seems to me the WSOPro would be a better deal as its just a one time purchase... looks like I have a bunch of reading to do before I even think about getting into this kind of thing.

For the record, I use WP. I was only saying you don't have too.

e-junkie is cheaper. WP is easier.

And about email delivery, you haven't lived until you've stayed up sending products 48 hours every 5 mins. @ 10 to 30 bucks a pop.

                  Thanks George Wright!

I followed some of your advice to pay the rent a couple of months ago to a T and it worked I made about a grand in 24 hours. Wasnt ready to enter the offline business fulltime just yet, but needed a cash injection... so I did exactly what you did and offerred my first client a website for 100 bucks just to get the wheels turning, then charged the next two $350... then spent the next 3 days with "beer and pretzels" designing little static sites with the rent happily paid.

Thanks! Your advice is always awesome.

The First Time out for me on a WSO was very nice. It all has to do with your sales letter (WSO OP) and then living up to your sales letter, or better yet over delivering on it.

On your question about "decent expectation in terns of sales." I don't think anyone could say, however it's safe to expect to recoup your investment and the education you get is well worth it. Having "safely" said that, I always expect $1k in sales for a short eBook and seldom am I disappointed.

Pay attention to the bolded text in George's reply. Don't just skim over it and see the $1k figure.

There are so many variables... correctly identifying a need, crafting an offer (including the price), writing your copy, your reputation, etc.

I had never thought about this... maybe it could perform well, but it should be a more expensive WSO for people who already have established businesses... not my expertise, but certainly something that can make you some nice cash.

    So I guess you would:

    A: Write the report
B: Hire someone to make an ebook cover
C: Hire a copy writer to produce your copy for the wso forum
D: Place your ad in the WSO section and let it run?

Thanks, all of your help is appreciated.

My WSOs have been pretty steady at about $700 gross during the first month, and haven't wavered much from that figure. They tend to drop about 50% each month after that, and trickle out at around the $1,500 mark about five or six months after release. From that point on, they generally produce about $100 a month.

Wow. Never thought about residual effect... so keeping the pipeline stuffed is a key then?

Wow that Cdarklock. Lots of insight there... they say the devil is in the details... if what you just said was the devil in this case...then he's manageable.
