Working on a project right now with videos. The content creator has been using captivate but I see a lot of people are using camtasia on here. We are testing right now. WE have a 5 minute video and I am getting the red screen of death about 1/2 the way in. It is 22 slides. Its capturing a screen shot of him using an auto pen. Any input. Camtasia is $299 as opposed to cpativate at $699. We are creating a high end video product to sell so quality is the main priority the difference in price has no effect on our decision. Thanks |

Camtasia can zoom in on tight areas of the screen. Captivate cannot. Camtasia needs to load one huge file (takes a while). Captivate loads faster with many smaller files. That's where my knowledge ends. The zoom feature was the winning feature for me. |
