IM made my interest for other things go away! :( (Hope I am not going crazy)

I haven't understood if this is causing you distress or not but if it's not, maybe it's just that you're passionate about IM.

I tend to think a lot about things that I'm passionate about. I'll lie and think about it as I'm trying to fall asleep and it will just always be in the back of my mind.

I think about it all the time...always coming up with new ideas and even plan things in my dreams!! But its all about having fun with it!

I wouldn't say that IM has consumed my life, as my true passions still involve filmmaking and producing--so thats what I think about when I'm not working on my revenue projects. I guess you could say that IM is simply a means to an end for me. Thankfully I am learning a ton about online distribution, advertising, and promotion. All of these are going to help me immensely when I get enough money to make my independent film and start my studio.

I think about stories and movie concepts a lot more than I do IM, because that is what I am passionate about. So if you are passionate about internet marketing than of course you are going to think about it ALL THE TIME lol.

But on the same token, I noticed that you stated you began thinking about this because your brother brought up a new girl he met. Do you feel that the time you spend is cutting into social time? If so, break your habits and go out more. That doesn't mean get wild with it, but if you feel that you are missing out on somethings, go out on Friday's and work on your internet marketing stuff when you get home or Saturday afternoon.

Don`t think about IM but the end product "the cash" "the lifestyle" "the freedom".
After all what do you want to achieve a lifetime of IM or a lifetime of the end product?

Lmao. Exactly dude. I think I've been in a similar situation. After two years of basically... isolation from the outside world.. you start to gain back your desire to have fun doing other things.. I have to get out and do something fun or I WILL go crazy. lol.

OP, I am there... I do have an 8month and wife, which they come first, but IM is second and I am always thinking of other methods.
I had the same symptoms when playing poker, I always had some methods and always thinking of new ways to make more money, but then it got a bit out of control so I left that.
