Different types of marketing

I am just curious of all the different types of marketing out there. Also what exactly are they. For example I know there is article marketing and bum marketing but what is bum marketing?

    Its a course that travis sago came up with . Basically its writing articles that are keyword friendly. They call it bum marketing because even a bum could do it ( no money )

    there is only one type of marketing, which is to bring a products or service to a market of customers. now there are thousands of ways to go about marketing, ( flyers, TV commercials, Billboards, and off course chicks in bikinis holding up signs ) but marketing is always the same.

      Thats not what I mean. I am asking for someone to tell me all the different ways to generate traffic and money.

      Like: affiliate marketing
      bum marketing
      article marketing
      etc.
