New To Twitter Marketing?

Hey thanks for offering a q&a on twitter marketing. I'm very drawn toward marketing on twitter and being new in the game I'm filled with curiosity and what if's. If I was going to have a chance to ask a few questions they would be.

1. What about the obvious, as in generating a large following and how is the best way to go about building followers for free?

2. Are there any sites better than another for tips and tricks when it comes to generating money with twitter?

3. As a single Mom who is taking the plunge of working at home I'm on a non-existent income starting out What is my best way of earning money either to flip for more money with other ops or income. Of course I know this is typically impossible or so I hear but I wanted to throw it out there.

I'm determined and motivated and if given the chance to prove myself I know I can go far. I just need to find an opportunity that I can trust knowing that my hard work will pay off. I'm open to any advice and greatly appreciative for it!! Eventually after I find my way and am financially secure I'd like to open a non profit to help other woman who are in difficult situations find a way to empower themselves by using the internet to their advantage. I figure if someone is given a hand up and not a hand out they will be better off in the long run because falling back into a negative situation would be less likely. I'm 4 yrs sober and 7 yrs safe from domestic violence and hopefully I can find my way so that I can then help others find their ways. Sorry for rambling but I wanted to let you know where I was coming from with my questions
