Can you guys guide me?? Pleaseee

Hello warriors,

I am kartik, i've been following this forum for quite sometime now and i must say it's simply superb. Now I have a few websites which are on adsense, one of them is doing most of the earnings which is not very impressive, but still, gives me some extra bucks. I've tried Amazon Associates, has some sales but the commission is too low. I am planning to promote IM products. Now below I am listing out a few things I already have set up

1. A product review website where I review the products i promote.
2. Video Reviews
3. Bonus Product feature
4. An opt-in form( it is very dull need one which pops up on the screen)
5. CB Account

Now I am facing major problems in few areas:

1. I am actually unable to understand how to set up an autoresponder and how to follow up, what mails to send and when to send. I am badly confused with this, I would love to hear any outsourcing offers if this service can be outsourced.

2. If i outsource article writing , will i be needing 2 articles per product?? Say one for ezine and one for my website ?? Or is there something else also to it?

3. As of now I am using an automated software for submission of articles and link building. Is that okay?

4. I believe one article( even if its unique) can't be submitted to more than one article directory. Am I right?

I know the journey is tough, but I just want to confirm that I am on the right path, that's why I am looking for some guidance, and I'll be very greatful to you guys. I have some savings from my day job which i could use in outsourcing so feel free to suggest which service to outsource if it's really worth it.
I know getting $1000 per day straightaway is not at all possible, but I really want to give my best to this business, believe me it means a lot 2 me ( personal reasons).

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for leaving your valuable advices . Much Appreciated

If you go with a service like aweber, they have prompts to walk you through getting set up. They give you a code to put on your site that is very easy. The give templates for the optin information that displays on your site.

You can write the followups in advance, put them into aweber, and decide how frequently they go out.

You can outsource someone to actually write the emails up for you.

    2. If i outsource article writing , will i be needing 2 articles per product?? Say one for ezine and one for my website ?? Or is there something else also to it?
If you are selling in the IM niche, plan on a lot more than 2 articles per product. Better to focus on just one (or two) product(s) first, and when it starts converting add another one.

    3. As of now I am using an automated software for submission of articles and link building. Is that okay?
I wouldn't just rely on article submissions. Look into more ways of driving traffic to the site like video marketing, etc.

    4. I believe one article( even if its unique) can't be submitted to more than one article directory. Am I right?
You can, but some directories like Ezine want original content, and they want to be the first to get their hands on it.

Other directories may be less strict.

This is why it is good to read the TOS on these sites, and the rules for authors.

Thank you so much for your reply avenuegirl . I had a look at aweber yesterday, for some reason i found getresponse better than aweber, anyways both the services are in my mind now, but my main query is how to handle them, as in, what content to send when, and ya another big problem, to WHOM ? lol .... One thing ive understood by now, Emailing and List Building is very very important. The ones who make it big always do it first through their email database then from google traffic... The affiliate product creators(some of them atleast) also provide emails to be sent, can i outsource a service who can actually set up the auto responder and stuff ? I just need to see once how all this is set up and what is the most appropriate way

I have to be honest it seems like you're just listening to what you've read and trying to outsource the majority of the work. That's great only problem is, how do you tell others what you want them to do with out knowing what needs to be done?

Your product review site. How is the seo going? how many keywords have you targeted? how much traffic are you getting. You can have the greatest site in the world but people need to be able to find it.

It's hard to build your email list if people aren't finding your site to sign up.

Plus you need good content, GREAT content even. Because you want people to sign up and no one is going to if the free info on your site is poor. I'm not saying that's the case. I'm just saying you need took look at where your at on the search engines and move up. Or start learning ppc or even ppv.

The site is new, I am at 4th or 5th page for a very few keywords, the reason why i am looking to outsource most of the stuff is cz at the moment i can invest a little, and at the same time observe and learn what is working for me, right now i have no clue where i am heading. Ive been a php programmer so i dont need anyone to setup my site and all that, so that part has been taken care off, all i need is a path. Thanks for your reply btw

kartik, Jill has given you GREAT advice do take her recommendations into consideration.

As a word of advice, always remember that EVERYONE has a totally different take on outsourcing. Some people will support it wheras others would rather do most of the things themselves. Keep in mind that because you are hiring someone to do the work, it may NOT turn out as you want it. Outsourcing is pretty much trial and error, you have to hire, try the person out and see if they meet your expectations. But seriously speaking, somethings really aren't worth the headache or money to outsource.

For example, as Jill mentioned, many autoresponder services like aweber will literally walk you through the set up process, therefore there is no need to hire someone to establish that for you.

When it comes down to article marketing, that too is very MUCH a TRIAL and ERROR. And I will speak from personal experiences and not heresay; the VAST majority of freelance writers or pretend freelance writers that offer to write an article for less than 5 bucks are from third world countries and really do not provide excellent, properly written and well organized articles. I am not intending to offend anyone, but after numerous failed attempts at hiring writers overseas, I came across an American freelancer that charges WELL above the five dollar rate, but is very much worth it. SO ALWAYS remember that you will get what you pay for. Now, with regards to the number of articles, it really depends on your niche. If it is a competitive niche then 2 articles aren't going to do the work for you. What you CAN do is hire someone to write those 2 articles and then YOU can manually spin those articles (re-write them) to change the sentences up a bit and make more copies. NEVER use software spinners because MOST will spit out junk that reads like gibberish.

When submitting articles, ALWAYS post it on your site or blog first, then on ezine, then change it up a bit and submit to other directorie. As long as you route it back to your original post in the resource box you should not have a problem. There is NO such thing as a duplicate content penalty in Google, the only thing that happens is a content filtering. This means that if you do not route it back to your site, the content on your site might get filtered out when other things are taken into consideration.

Ok another thing, some of you are asking about my website niche, I am reviewing products from various spheres, be it IM or gardening, so seo would be done per article right? Is it necessary to have a specific niche for sites?? i have few sites on keywords like baby furniture collections, leather studded belt, electric stair chair etc , all those are promoting amazon. So there is not a specific niche for this new site, its basically just a review site, so i guess i'l be needing two articles only.

As for outsourcing, I would add a note toward waiting until you are more focused on your efforts.

The biggest value with outsourcing is doing tasks that free your time and energy. However, until you have the system and plan developed, you could end up spending money that could be better used later. (Trust me, I have done that in the past.)

Jenny gave you excellent advice about outsourcing. Because you often spend so much time and energy with clarifying and editing, that you could have performed the job yourself. But you do become better at detailed job specifications.

Anyway, good luck in your efforts.

I would like to say that a review site for IM is ok but, is there something you really want to do online? It is good to understand the basics to setting up a web business, creating your autoresponder sequence and getting articles and videos made so that you can direct traffic to your site, but what is it that you want to do? what do you have a drive for. There are thousands of review sites. My suggestion is to have a website that is all about your goals, not promoting someone else's products but your own.

So you might want to learn about product creation. There are some awesome PLR products and MMR products that you can put your own name on. They would save you a lot of time in the creation process. You can also use PLR articles that have been created already and maybe change those around a bit and then use those for article submission sites or for your blog.

I personally use video for a majority of my marketing. Google owns YouTube so everytime I make a video I can get seen by the search engines. I also can submit one video through to 15 to 20 3rd party video sites. similar to article directories.
I think that it is easier and saves time.

I think that outsourcing is ok to some degree. If you are interested in someone doing something like creating an autoresponder series for you, that is fine, in fact you can find people on here that will do that--Depending on whatever niche you are in or what you are trying to accomplish in your list building.

Let me know if you have any questions, Cheers
    Casey

there is a lot of money to be made and are being made using PLR. rather this is a good idea or not would depend on how you go about the whole thing...
there should be some good WSO on methods using PLR. I translated PLR to other languages and release them on forums like this in that language. did this for a while.. but now I'm in to things that take up less time from me.. so i completely dropped using PLR, but i suppose you can just outsource everything once you get some cash flow..
