How do you lock out membership customers who don't pay with amember and clickbank?

Hello Warriors,
I have a question regarding amember membership script and intergrating it with clickbank. I was wondering what happens when a customer stops paying clickbank the recurring fee for your product? or if they request a refund?

How do they get locked out of the members area? Is it automatic and handled by amember or do you have to manually remove customers who stop paying so they won't get access to the next months product. If its not automatic it sounds like it could be a lot of work.

aMember locks them out. Why ClickBank doesn't have simple script to do this is beyond me.

  How exactely does your amember script know that someone requested a refund or cancelled their membership from clickbank. Do you have to add amember code to your clickbank vendor account so they connect or what?

  When they try to log in, aMember runs it past ClickBank and if their account is not valid for some reason that is as far as they get. If they try to go directly to the members area and bypass the script, aMember picks that up too and kicks them out. I'm not 100% sure of the mechanics of it but I think that is about right.
